Thanks for the Memories!
Our fighter...
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marlisse Reina, who left us on April 3, 2024, at the age of 39. Marlisse was a beloved wife, daughter, and friend to many.
Born on October 21, 1984, Marlisse's passion for teaching science and inspiring her students was unmatched. She was a dedicated educator who truly cared about the success and well-being of her students. Her enthusiasm for learning and exploring the world was contagious, and she encouraged others to do the same.
Marlisse was a world traveler who had a thirst for discovering new cultures and experiences. From participating in paintball matches to engaging in food fights, Marlisse lived life to the fullest and checked off numerous items on her bucket list through her life and travels.
Despite her illness, Marlisse fought bravely and never let it dampen her spirit. She continued to push herself to experience all that life had to offer and never took a single moment for granted. Her kindness, selflessness, and zest for life will be remembered by all who knew her.
Marlisse is survived by her loving husband Brock Milhorn, as well as her devoted parents Marty and Lisa Reina. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the scholarship fund in her name, detailed on this page, or to any ovarian cancer charity of your choice in Marlisse's honor. May her memory live on in the hearts of those who cherished her. Rest in peace, Marlisse.
