Born on July 11, 1936, Maria was a long-time resident of Rangeley Drive in Scarborough, where she and her husband, Hermigildo, built a life filled with love and devotion.
Maria Elizabeth was well-known and cherished in her community. She dedicated her life to her family, friends, and faith, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering faith were sources of inspiration for all who crossed her path.

A devout follower of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Maria Elizabeth's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She found immense joy in her service and fellowship at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her spiritual community remembers her as a pillar of strength and grace, dedicated to her beliefs and always ready to offer support and a listening ear.
The funeral service to honor and remember Maria Elizabeth Acosta Jaramilla will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located at 846 Progress Avenue, Toronto, on July 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
