Obituary
Margarita “Margie” Quintero passed away on December 20, 2012, at the age of 48 in Memphis, Tennessee. She spent most of her life in California, living in Azusa and Los Angeles before moving to Memphis.
Margie excelled in school, played softball, and attended Baldwin Park High School before continuing her education at Mount San Antonio College. She worked at the Tribune for many years and prepared taxes for people throughout much of her life She drove a school bus for children with intellectual and physical disabilities which was one job I feel she enjoyed the most.
Margie had a strong personality and a tough exterior. Her family remembers her with love as a hardworking woman, a sister a mom, and someone who helped people in anyway she could. Margie like Gloria was an amazing cook, to this day we still make their recipes.
She was the mother of Michael and Taylor and the grandmothers of Alice and Charlie, whom she never had the opportunity to meet.
Though many years have passed, Margie remains in our memories and in our hearts. We honor her life, the help she gave, and the place she will always hold in our family.
