A Celebration of the Life of Margaret L. A. Ita
With love, we warmly invite you to join us as we celebrate and give thanks for the life of our beloved Margaret L. A. Ita (Mummy Ita) on Thursday, 15th October 2026.
The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12:00pm at New Life Church Derby, Normanton Road, Derby, DE23 6UU.
Paid Parking is available at Grove Street Car Park, DE23 6UR.
Following the service, there will be an interment at Nottingham Road Cemetery at 2:00pm.
We would then love for everyone to join us from 3:00pm for the Wake/Reception and Service of Songs at the Botanical Suite, Meadow Lane, Derby, DE1 2BH. Free Parking available at venue.
This will be a special time for family and friends to gather together, share memories, songs and tributes, and celebrate the wonderful life and legacy of Mummy Ita.

UCMC was one of Mum’s great passions, and she faithfully supported and served the Mission right up until her passing. Through its work, lives and communities in Nigeria continue to be touched with practical care, compassion and the love of Jesus.
