Death is not extinguishing the light; it is putting out the lamp because dawn has come.
Obituary
In the tender embrace of celestial serenity, Manley Wisdom, Sr., gracefully yielded to the divine call of his Lord and Maker on March 4, 2024. His earthly journey, adorned with seventy-four years of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion, drew to a close, leaving behind a tapestry of cherished memories and an enduring legacy that shall forever grace the annals of time.
As the cherished cornerstone of his family, Manley was the epitome of devotion and love, a beacon of strength and tenderness for his beloved Anna, his cherished children, Manley Jr. and Kerry, daughter-in-law Nadine, and the radiant stars of his lineage, Manley III, Jaime, and Christian. He was also a loving brother, cousin, uncle, colleague and friend to many.
Beyond the confines of kinship, Manley's benevolent spirit extended its luminous reach, touching the lives of all fortunate enough to cross his path. A paragon of compassion and empathy, he embraced the trials of others with open arms, offering solace and support with an unwavering grace. Manley was selfless and kind, weaving joy and comfort into the lives of those in need.
Amidst the bustling corridors of service, Manley's dedication shone brightest, particularly within the realm of culinary craft, where his passion for nourishing both body and soul found its fullest expression. With hands that toiled tirelessly and a heart overflowing with generosity, he filled each meal with a sprinkle of love, enriching not only the palate but also the spirit of those he served. If you knew Manley well, we are almost certain that at some point, he blessed you with a meal!
A steadfast servant of the Most High, Manley's presence exuded a radiant joy - an unbridled joy that only a personal relationship with Jesus Christ could provide.
As we gather to bid farewell to this beloved soul, let us not mourn the departure of his earthly vessel, but rather rejoice in the legacy he leaves behind. Let us celebrate the life of a man whose spirit danced among the stars, whose love knew no bounds, and whose memory shall forever be etched upon the canvas of our hearts.
We shall gather at Kingdom Builders Ministries in Miami, Florida, on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11:00am, to honor his life and legacy, and the indelible imprint he has left upon our souls. May his spirit soar on the wings of angels, and may light perpetual shine upon him.

I am so sorry for your lost
I can say Mr Manley was a very good chef. You will be missed.
Even though death is an appointment for everyone, when it comes, it still stings and rocks the world of those who are left behind. Especially when death takes away from you someone who you love and respect. The news of your death, brother has certainly rocked my world! No more will I see your radiant smile or hear your playful chuckle as you encourage me and give your insightful brotherly advice. These were some of the qualities that were unique to you, and only you! You were a kind and loving brother who loved to worship God and served others. I certainly will miss you, but earth’s loss is heaven’s gain! So, I say so long my brother, we will meet again!
Your sister, Jean
Manley was a good man to have in your corner. The worst thing about death is that u never get over it no matter the length of time. My prayer is that GOD will avail his strength and peace to those most affected in this most difficultt time.
MANLEY WISDOM R.I P
When we got news of his illness we prayed and trusted God for his healing. When we got that news we were and still are devastated and troubled on many fronts.
Bro Manley was an awesome husband to our Sis Anna. He loved and cared for her with all his heart . She and her two children and three grandchildren must be grieving beyond recognition.
Our concern is for Sis Anna who was glued to him.
We offer our condolences to our dear Sis Anna, Manley Jr, Kerry-Ann Manley 111, Jaime and Christian.
his siblings, other relatives church family, neighbors and his numerous friends.
“Death has no sting to a Believer. Once death was the penalty of sin-sin being forgiven, the penalty ceases and Christians do not die, now, as a punishment for their sin, but they die that they may be prepared to live!”
Charles H. Spurgeon
Rest in peace Bro Manley.

We would like to send our condolences to your family. We are sending out prayers to you. Mr. Wisdom you have fought a good fight, rest in the arms of the Lord. He is in heaven praising our Savior.
Lord comfort and strengthen them in this dark time.
Although you are not here in body, your spirit is right here with us. When Dad passed, you were right there, making sure the family stayed together. All our siblings have their own stories about your caring heart, infectious smile, and the extraordinary Man of God you were… my hero. Whenever you ended a sentence, you would always say, “Blessing, sister; God is good.”
Your love is eternal, the impact you made on our lives was extraordinary. Your life was a testimony to the incredible human being you were.
This song ‘In Shady Green Pastures’ is comforting for you, brother Manley:
In shady green pastures
So rich and so sweet
God led His dear children along
Some through the waters
Some through the flood
Some through the fire
But all through the blood
Some through great sorrow
But God gives a song
The night season and all the day long
The gate of memories will never close. We miss you, Brother Manley. Rest in Jesus arms 🙏🏾.

My brother Manley has committed his life to the Lord at an early age. He was a genuine, loving brother and friend. He was a dedicated Christian and one who served the church well. He was a family man, an excellent cook, an encourager, and a counselor to many. These are just a few indelible marks left by my brother.
I will draw strength from the wonderful, credible, and exemplary life lived. Your persistent support and kindness shown will never be forgotten. The selfless and undying love for your family and others will live forever.
You have fought a good fight, and you have kept the faith; you will be greeted by your Saviour with the words "well done." Rest in peace, big brother. You will be forever in my heart.

The memory of Mr. Wisdom Sr.’s impactful and appreciative opening prayer during our last meeting through the online prayer and fasting service still echoes in my mind.

My brother in-law, Manley was a very special person. He gave me some wise marriage tips that I will always cherish.
He was a great family man who loved his family, and the way in which he lived his life was an example to us all. Manly had a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh. I will miss my brother in-law dearly, but he's now in a place of perfect rest in the presence of the Lord!
—Altheia Wisdom (lady Susie)🙏🏾💞
My memories of Uncle Manly are happy and full of light. Visiting him & my Florida family was always exciting and fun—he had an amazing sense of humor and knew how to make us kids laugh and feel at ease. When I was visiting colleges in FL, Uncle encouraged me and was always clapping for me each step of the way in my education. Each family trip was not complete until we attended service together at his church, and he always made sure God was at the center of every move he made. Saying that I miss him is an understatement. Rest in power Uncle!

did not know him intimately as many others but as I draw closer to my pastor I could see that his father made an individual mark on him
and therefore who he was is a direct reflection of his father's input and that tells me that, that man was something special I know that he has left
us but he has left with us more of him than we could imagine I do share my condolence with his family and I pray that we would all strive to see him one
day to help us keep our eyes on the prize of the utmost calling in Jesus Christ, God bless the wisdom family I pray the comfort and the peace of God be
with you all in this time amen
May the love and memories you shared provide comfort to you all in the days ahead.
His love of family was truly remarkable. So many beautiful memories of the journey of life tell the story of greatness, blessing and service. The most gracious and generous host, his kindness has touched many generations.
Solution oriented and wise; the wisdom talks remain impactful. "Know God for yourself", words which have resonated throughout the years. Sir Wisdom, father-in-law, nuff respect!
