I can't believe I am writing this. How does one say goodbye to you? I tried ignoring this, thinking that someone will tell me it's a joke. Even after crying during your wake keeping in Laurel,MD last month, I was still in denial Not until I saw your remains arriving Bachuo Akagbe today, did it occur to me that you are truly gone, that I will never see you, or hear your voice again. Words have failed me. I do not know how to mourn you. I have not even mustered the courage to visit your siblings. I don't know how to face your children, so I avoid calling them, thinking you will wake up.
As you are going, please do not forget to intercede for all of us.
Sister Eneke, gentle woman, you will truly be missed.

Mami HELEN. It’s so short a time we come to know each other. You showed up with food and help after I recovered from COVID 19.you didnot give because you had so much but because that is who you are.The vacuum you have left is so big to be filled. You and brother Egbe have left the family speechless and still wondering if the story can be changed one day. We are left with nobody to wipe our unending tears.

My Neighbor my Baby Sister, we knew ourselves in Bedford Towers when Pastor Bissong died and God allowed our bond to grow into something deeper. You were not just a friend but a Baby Sister. You were a blessing to me. When my Mom died , you came and spent a couple of days with me, sleeping on the same bed.Tears keep pouring 🫗 from my eyes whenever I think of you. My beloved Neighbor and Sister WHY,???, only God knows and has the answer. Though you have gone to rest in God's loving arms, your memories will stay with me forever.

Ma Helen Agbor was truly a generous and loving woman. During our medical school days in Nigeria, she didn’t just support her son Sydon, but she also showed love and concern to his friends. I will never forget how she would send us money and look out for us as if we were her own children.

Her kindness, warmth, and giving spirit touched many lives, including mine. She raised a son whose character reflects her goodness, and her legacy will live on through him and everyone she helped along the way.

May her soul rest in perfect peace.

"Dear Mum,
Your memory will forever be a bittersweet melody in our hearts. The ache of your absence is still raw like an open wound that refuses to heal.Every moment without you feels like an eternity,a painful reminder of the laughter we'll never share, the stories we'll never hear, and the memories we'll never make.
You were more than just a Mum_you were a guiding light,a source of strength, and a constant reminder of love.your kindness ,compassion, and generosity inspired us all.your smile could light up a room, and your love could warm the coldest of hearts.
As we say goodbye,we take comfort in the memories we shared:the family gatherings, the quiet moments, and the laughter that filled our lives. We'll cherish these moments even as tears falling our hearts ache.Rest in peace,Dear mummy. We'll miss you more than words can express."

Ms. Helen Agbor,

Though I never had the privilege of meeting you, your absence leaves a deep ache in my heart. Through the life of my dearest friend, I came to know you—not in person, but in the quiet strength, unshakable integrity, courage, and diligent spirit you instilled in him. Every time he stands a little taller, chooses the harder right over the easier wrong, or faces life’s storms with grace, I see your handiwork. You shaped and guided him into the extraordinary man he is today, and for that gift, I will always be grateful.
You raised a gentleman the world desperately needs more of.
Your love, your lessons, and your legacy live on in him—and now, through him, in all of us whose lives he touches.

Rest in peace, Ms. Helen. You will be so deeply missed, but never forgotten.

With heartfelt respect and gratitude,

Chika.

Sister, words cannot express the sadness in saying farewell to you. The ache in my chest as my heart is broken into two. The bond that we shared was stronger and nothing could ever cut so deep as this aching loss I feel. But I know you're watching over me as you did when you were here. Your light shines my sweet sister, your presence eternally near. Miss you so much.

Ma Helen was such a warm and loving woman with a heart of gold. She became so acquainted with my family within a very short space of time talking so nicely even about my mum as if they knew each other from birth. She was always cheerful spreading happiness and caring about everyone around her. For whatever reason she was always grateful and appreciative of me and that humbles me so much because I don't know what I've done to deserve it. Her beautiful memories will remain evergreen in our hearts. Farewell till we meet to part no more

Ma Helen, you were such a great COACH between Oben and I, each time we had our friendship feud and you always took my side. We are going through one momentarily and I don't know who to turn to for that worthwhile counseling that you always gave us.? You attended a couple of my birthdays in grand style. This is my birthday month and I'm like who will sit on ur seat? I will forever miss you, your infectious smiles and soft spoken voice. I know you are not dead but asleep. May be gone but not forgotten, as your memories still lingers. Ma Helen, continue to RIHP.
IT IS WELL!
ADIEU, ADIEU, ADIEU!!!

My mother, Ma Helen Eneke Agbor, lived a life defined by love, sacrifice, and unshakeable strength. From humble beginnings, she carried a vision far bigger than her circumstances and devoted her entire life to lifting her family.

She was a mother to many, a pillar of comfort, a bridge-builder, and a giver who never counted the cost. Even in her hardest moments, she remained full of faith, always believing, always hoping, always giving.

Her legacy is carved not in monuments, but in the countless lives she touched and the generations she shaped through her kindness and courage.

Mom, thank you for every sacrifice, every prayer, every lesson, and every moment of love. Your children, your grandchildren, and your siblings will carry your light forever.

Rest well mom, your legacy lives on, and you will forever remain the heartbeat of our family.
