Dear Mrs. Wisdom, my friend
I know this past year has been incredibly difficult, and there are no words that can truly ease the pain that you are feeling. But I want you to know that you are not alone. You are surrounded by people who love you.
May you find comfort in the beautiful memories you shared, and may his spirit continue to shine through in all the ways he touched yours and the children's lives( Manley & Kerry). Continue to trust in God and stay strong.
With love, Paulette Barracks

Only time will heal the grief that you continue to feel, even a year after the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. Be comforted by the precious memories that linger in your hearts and the assurance that Brother Manley is resting in the arms of the Savior.

It’s hard to believe that a year has passed. The memory of Mr Wisdom still lives on in the hearts of his loved ones.
Loss is like a cut, it hurts but as time passes it eventually heals. The scar remaining is a memory of the loss but let this scar of loss be a memory of a man who lived well and loved well.
My prayers are with you Mrs Wisdom, Kerry-Ann, Manley and the rest of the family.

There are many things we cannot understand but certainly Daddy Wisdom has a great legacy behind. Be encouraged that a brighter day is coming and there will be joy beyond compare in that homeland on high.

A great man of God has transitioned. We who knew him were fortunate to have been influenced and inspired by him. He cared deeply, prayed constantly, spoke honesty and with humility and cooked sweetly. He was a father and a friend to many, who, lived for and loved his immediate and extended family.
Father Wizzy the void you have left can never be filled. However, we continue our race with the assurance and hope, that one day soon we will meet in the kingdom where death is powerless.
To the family, sincerest condolence and may the Holy Spirit continually comfort.

There are no words to soothe the broken hearted. I can only imagine the pain and agony and point you to the Man on Calvary! He alone sees the tears that fall and knows the aches of the heart. The Bible says, “He is near to the brokenhearted” and He will comfort and heal. So, Mrs. Wisdom, Kerry, Manley and the family… He will carry you! Mr. Wisdom will always be remembered as kind and giving, and always with a smile on his face. Hold on to your sweet memories of Mr. Wisdom.

When the news reached my ears I was dazed. MANLEY!!!
You’re crazy. I know the man he was. My sister was his queen she never uttered a bad word about him. My parents loved him like a son.

The earliest real memory I have of my grandfather is him admonishing me for breaking the recliner in his house, that he had bought for grandma. I could tell he was upset, and in that moment I felt terrible because I hadn’t been playing in the chair it just seemed to stop working.
In a few years I looked back on that memory fondly, because I know it was never about the chair, it was what it represented. My Grandfather was a giving man, and he had gotten a recliner for grandma so she could rest her tired feet. It was an act of love, and I learned to look at the scolding in that light, the love he had for grandma.
My last earthly interaction with this great man was by chance I thought at the time, but nothing is by chance. I had a connecting flight that took off without me causing me to stay with him, my grandma and aunt for a night. And as God would have it the following night when we were heading to the airport it was pouring rain, and we got a flat tire.
My last interaction was changing a tire in the pouring rain with my grandpa. He did so without a murmur, diligently, with silent strength. I am the third of his name, and I hope to wear it with the same honour with which he did.
To live a life pleasing to God, as he did.

May his legacy continue to live on through the lives he touched, and may his spirit bring comfort and strength to those who miss him dearly. Wishing his family peace and healing as they honor his memory. Continued prayers of comfort to you all.

Whenever I think of Sir Manley Wisdom Snr., I think of a gentle giant. I learned that he was a devoted father, a strong yet humble leader, and someone whose quiet strength left a lasting impact on those around him. I am grateful to him and his family for the time they invited us into their home and made us feel more than welcome. Though reserved, his presence spoke volumes, and his legacy will continue to live on.
Each year, as my wedding anniversary approaches, I am reminded of the day I heard the news of his passing. A day that was meant to be filled with joy also became a moment of reflection as I grappled with the reality that Sir Manley Snr. was no longer with us in the flesh. Yet, as Billy Graham once said, “One day you will hear that I am dead, but it will be far from the truth. I will be more alive than I am now.” These are words I believe Senior himself would echo, for I witnessed his faithfulness to Christ—the One who gives everlasting life.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God’s grace sustain you, and may you find solace in the beautiful memories you shared with him.
Love,
Dannie and Shammoy

My memories of Mr. Wizzy are only wonderful. A calm, dependable, respectable man of God, who treated his wife, children and others around him with decency and care. He was also an excellent chef whose food tasted like it was made with love. I miss talking with him on the phone. The one comfort is that though he is absent from the body, he is present with the Lord. Take that comfort family as God remains with you to give you His peace.

I never knew you but you must have been an amazing soul because you live on in your son Manley. I have come to know over time and he is you in spirit and soul. You have left a void that no one can fill but your legacy lives on. A prayer and blessing from a fellow human.
Masareth Rubbani
There are no words adequate enough to express the pain, the sorrow, the heartache that is in my heart because my husband, my encourager, my delectable chef, my everything (apart from my soul salvation) is not here.
I thank God for the wonderful memories that I have of my husband. He treated me so well. I thank God I that I said yes to this wonderful man of God who was my husband for 47 years two months and 19 days. I thank God that Daddy Harold Wisdom and Mother Icilda Wisdom brought him into the world - it was for me.
I thank my parents for having guided me while they were alive. I thought my brother Leroy was only 13 years of years when I got married, who prayed that God would keep us and it would be only death that parts us. That is the prayer that kept me alive on that fateful day.
Dee, I look forward to meeting you in the sweet by and by. We will talk it all over.
Anna Wisdom
Gone are the days that can never come back but your memories are forever, Mr. Manley senior. You have a beautiful family down here thinking of you and sharing great memories about the wonderful man, father, husband and a chef that you were. This is not the end as your legacy will continue for years and years to come through the Manleys! God bless you R.I.P.
Ms. Ameer
Boss, living without you is truly an experience that cannot be explained by any human expression! I did not know that missing someone could cause such tangible, palpable pain. My world changed forever on March 4. Desperately trying to take your legacy forward. Love you endlessly Dad.
Stay strong family. God is with us and Daddy is looking down.
