MICAH LEE BLAYLOCK

Obituary
ISAIAH 25:8 " He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, For Jehovah himself has spoken it "
Micah Lee Blaylock entered this world on December 15, 1979. at home in Fallon Nevada.
In 1983 he moved to McMinnville Oregon. Later he moved to Vancouver Washington to live with his dad.
From early on Micah had a gift for seeing people for who they truly were. He had a tender heart, especially for those with disabilities, he chose his friends not for popularity, but for kindness and character. People were naturally drawn to Micah, and for good reason. His gentle spirit, warm smile, and easy laugh had a way of making anyone feel welcome.
Micah loved learning, and worked hard to pursue his education. Putting himself though Portland Community College to earn an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems.
He loved music, playing in at least two bands. ( Two Angry Men) consisting of four members, and (Sour Apples). He found freedom on a skateboard, comfort in the presence of cats, and joy in creating art. His hands could coax beauty from the earth, turning gardens into living works of art.
Generosity was simply part of who Micah was. He often gave away his belongings, not out of lack, but out of love. Once while helping his dad with a garage sale, he was left in charge for a while. When his dad returned, Micah had gone, but left a sign reading. "Take what you want- please be honest." That was Micah. Giving freely, trusting deeply.
Micah leaves behind a family who loves him beyond measure. His father Kenneth Blaylock (Terri Blaylock) his mother Rachel Ringen, sisters Jessica Reynolds (Derik Reynolds) and Miranda Erickson (Jonathan Erickson) nephews Rylee Reynolds and Roman Erickson, niece Eva Erickson, as well as aunts, cousins and so many dear friends.
Though his time with us was far too short, Micah’s kindness, and laughter, and generous heart will live on in the memories of all who knew and loved him.
JOHN 5:28,29 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

I’ll never forget his silly little song—about Kim’s dog “Chip Chip Chip Roo, Chip Chip, we hate you when you poop on the floor.” It still makes me laugh to this day, and when I think of it, I can still hear Micah’s laugh echoing back.
Micah will be so deeply missed, but I’ll carry his love of music, his laughter, and his friendship with me always.
