Loved deeply and remembered always.

Obituary

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Lynne, who was born on January 25th, 1958 and passed away on August 20th, 2026 in Sydney, Australia.

Lynne exemplified the blending of the feminine with the masculine. She was soft, gentle, kind and compassionate. She was also strong, determined and practical, except when it came to cushion numbers. An organiser par excellence. I was more likely to remember a Fatherheart acquaintance's name but she knew everything else about them.

She thrived in beautiful places like Orama and Little Bay and she had an ocean of love in her heart too. She forgave quicker and more fully than this little black duck ever did. She loved deeply and truly and many have received what she so freely gave. The fact that God could take such a wonderful girl home must mean that some of us are growing up into her shoes. Denise might say growing down. Thank you for trying to get her back to me.

I have very fond memories of working with Lynne on things related to Fatherheart Australia. I've had many pleasant phone calls with her talking through work and life. I saw Lynne as a very warm woman with a huge heart full of love, especially toward her own family. She will be missed. Jess and I are still so shocked of her sudden departure. Our hearts and prayers go out to Jim and the family.

I had the privilege of leading one of our Fatherheart Ministries ‘A’ Schools together with Lynne and Jim in Sydney earlier this year. As an ‘A’ School leader, Lynne had a huge heart for people and a deep desire to see others discover their true destiny as beloved sons and daughters. Together with Jim, and a close-knit group of friends, she has served faithfully to this end since attending the first Inheriting the Nations School in 2008, later becoming an ‘A' School leader. During our recent time together, she shared her dream to see the love of the Father spread across continent in this new season. She was humble, generous, had a heart to learn and a strong desire to go deeper. Nia and I miss our growing friendship, yet trust that the dream that Lynne carried in her heart will still become an unfolding reality.
