Obituary
"It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lynn Elizabeth Marie Elliott.
Lynn passed away peacefully at her home in Maple Ridge, BC, surrounded by her loving family.
Lynn was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother (granny) and friend to all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her loved ones.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Gertrude Elliott. Their legacy lived on through Lynn’s generous heart and enduring spirit.
She is survived by her loving husband George, her son Andrew (Krista), her daughter Janelle (Brian), her sisters Carol, Nancy (George), Brenda (Bob), her brothers Kevin (Bernie) and Barry (Heather), her grandchildren Nate, Abi and Jake, and her faithful pup Sophie.
Born on January 17, 1958, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Lynn brought joy and warmth to those around her from the very beginning. She was known for her vibrant spirit—smart, funny, kind, joyful, positive, energetic, and deeply loving.
Lynn embraced life fully and touched countless lives with her enthusiasm and optimism. Her radiant smile and sparkling eyes lit up every room she entered, offering comfort and connection to all who crossed her path.
Lynn’s passions reflected her zest for life. She found joy running along the beaches of Tofino and Maui and on the trails of the local forests, singing freely, dancing with abandon, tending lovingly to her garden, and delighting in puppies, hummingbirds, and sunsets.
These simple pleasures spoke to her deep appreciation for beauty in everyday moments.
Throughout her illness, Lynn demonstrated remarkable courage, grace and resilience. Even amid personal challenges, she remained compassionate—always thinking of others and offering support where she could.
Lynn's impact and spirit will live on in all of us who had the privilege of knowing and loving her so dearly. May it bring comfort to those she leaves behind and serve as a lasting reminder of a life filled with love, laughter, and boundless light.
A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Lynn requested that donations could be made to the Maple Ridge SPCA, to honour her love of animals.

Fly high like an eagle sweet sister over the mountains, forests and rivers you loved to hike. Bob and I will be watching for you.
In life, she was forever an optimist. She saw the good in all circumstances. In dealing with her C journey wow- She fought so hard with a warriors mindset & ♥️. In our last conversations I know she was ready to go home with her faith. For me, I feel a peace that she is no longer in pain. I know in faith she is one of our collective angels. I honestly don’t think or expect to ever encounter another human who will fight on every level the way Lynn did. Lynn truly is an inspiration to me and hopefully to all of us. Losing Lynn is so unfair and so heartbreaking. May Lynn rest in peace. I know I will think of Lynn with every sunset I get to see and to cherish. 💔🙏💕
