"She is clothed in strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future."
Proverbs 31:25

A Daughter's Poem
I still reach for you in quiet ways
In morning light, in gentle days.
In gardens touched by patient hands,
In music only memory understands.

You loved me softly, deep and true-
Not always loud… but still I knew.
In every place I felt safe to be,
Your quiet love surrounded me.

Life carried us through changing years-
Through silent strength and hidden fears.
You bore your burden without display,
And somehow found a faithful way.

You moved through life with steady grace,
And when you danced, light filled your face-
Not seeking praise, not needing fame,
Just joy that rose like Living flame.

And now, as I look back and see
The woman you were… and the woman in me,
I recognize your strength, your art,
Your quiet fire within my heart.

So rest, dear Mom, in peaceful light.
I’ll carry you forward into my life.
Until the day we meet above,
I’ll walk this world with your quiet love.
