Obituary

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Lollie Caldwell, who was born on January 1st, 1921 and passed away on July 8th, 2026 in Coos Bay, Oregon at 105 years of age!

Lollie will be remembered for devotion to her twin daughter's Donna & Rhonda, her grandchildren Sarah & Heidi, her great grandchildren Liberty and Aaron, husband Clarence & his family, nieces and nephews and friends. Her kindness, generosity, and the quiet ability to bring people together was exceptional. Family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues all experienced the warmth and sincerity that made time spent with Lollie an honor and joyful experience.

Throughout life, Lollie built lasting connections and touched so many lives through simple acts of care, encouragement, and friendship. Conversations, shared moments, and everyday gestures created memories that will remain with those who had the privilege of knowing her. Family meant everything to Lollie, and relationships were always nurtured with patience and devotion. Everyone valued her fun-loving nature and sincerity.

The passing of Lollie leaves a space that cannot be filled. Yet the memories, lessons, and moments shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.  Lollie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Aunt Lollie will be so deeply missed. I actually have more memories of her than I do of my own grandmother, her sister, Sarah Jane Houser. I’m so grateful For those memories because I always imagined that warmth, love, kindness, and care she showed would be my grandma, who I lost when I was two, would be like. When I was little, Aunt Lollie came to stay with our family in Fresno. Years later when we reconnected, she reminded me of how I performed dances for her back then and how much she loved it. When we visited her home in Arizona after I became a mother to Cami Farah, she gave me a couple of things that belonged to my grandmother, which I treasure. She was so sweet to Cami, her great great niece. I still
keep voicemails from her in my phone because hearing her call me honey and say I love you brings me such comfort. I will forever love and admire the amazing woman she was, and I will keep her memory alive for Cami, teaching her lessons about being kind, selfless, strong, and a non-complainer. That ran in the Houser family for sure. All my love and respect, your niece, Ali. ❤️

I have only met Aunt Lollie a couple of times and she was always the sweetest to me. She will always be remembered, loved, and missed by all.

I miss Aunt Lollie and I love her so much. I miss talking to her on the phone every other day she would call me and I would call her. She was always happy, laughing and smiling all the time. I think Uncle C was smitten with Lollie at the very beginning of their relationship. Lollie was a happy, smiling, kind person that brought out the best in my uncle.

Lollie fit right in to our family from the very moment we met her. We loved her and she loved all thirty of the Caldwell /Nash family.

She will be missed. She’s now with my uncle dancing in heaven. They both live in our hearts remembering the good times.

We had the blessing of meeting Lollie when Rhonda lived in AZ and she was there, I think moved there. She came to my Mom’s place and we had a wonderful time. She was a great lady from what Rhonda told us and from the love of life in her that day. She had lived a good, full life, 105, just WOW. My Mom passed away at 98 and I kept checking with Rhonda and Lollie was still beating the odds. I love all the photos. What a life she had. God has you in his house now in loving arms. 🩷

Our Lovely Lollie. We were blessed when Lollie came into our family. She fit right in from the very beginning. Always full of fun. Always ready to join in whatever we came up with. She was full of love and was loved by all. A truly beautiful woman both inside and out.

She and our Dad were truly in love. She deeply missed her Clarence and now is deeply missed by our family and of course hers. Towards the end of her amazing life she would tell us how much she missed him and wanted to be with him.We trust that worked out and they are once more together.

We all miss you Lollie. Thank you for sharing a part of your long life with us. We love you dearly.

Its hard to find the words to express how very much we miss our mom. I love how she adorded doug, hes loved her for 50 years. I am realizing that never having anyone close to me pass before, there are so many little things that she was intertwined with in my everyday life. There's not one day I dont feel her with me, or think of her as im going about my day... I dought that will ever go away. And im glad.
