There is so much we could say about the incredible Lisa Phelps, she was the heart and soul of Adecco for 25 years, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. With her kind heart, mischievous humour, and unforgettable warmth, she lit up every room she entered. Lisa wasn’t just a colleague; she was a friend, a confidante, and a source of joy and wisdom for so many. You helped me grow both professionally and personally. I will truly miss you!
I am sure wherever you are there’s a party going on and I know you will have packed 2 pairs of sunglasses.
I have planted a tree in your memory because you loved them. I think of you often, so many happy memories!
My heartfelt wishes go to your family and everyone who knew you. Much love xxxxx

There are countless fun and special memories I have of you, but what stands out most are the moments when you empowered and supported me and not just in business, but in life. You had a way of making people feel valued, seen, and uplifted.
One moment that will stay with me forever was during the early days of COVID. It was such an uncertain and overwhelming time, navigating remote work, trying to be a hands on manager for my team, home schooling my children, and feeling the weight of the unknown. I remember a particular call with you at the start of the pandemic, when I was struggling, feeling hopeless that I couldn't do it all. In that moment, you did what you did best, you put everything into perspective. Your kind words, your encouragement, and your wisdom completely shifted my outlook. You instinctively stepped into the role of a “work mum” when I needed it most, and I will always be grateful for that.
From interviewing and championing me for the Branch Manager role in Harlow to gaining a place for me & encouraging me to take part in the Empowering Women in Leadership course, you believed in me more than I believed in myself at times. You led with such authenticity and kindness and your impact on Adecco, and all of us lucky enough to have known you, will never be forgotten.
My deepest condolences to Lisa’s family. She spoke about you all so often and with such love that I feel as though I know you.
Keep dazzling and shining bright, Lisa, you were truly one in a million. xx
From the beginning of my recruitment career, you have been a great mentor and I wouldn't be where I am today without your support, encouragement and inspiration. Loved your visits to branch and seeing you on training days- always had us laughing with your cheekiness!
Always be remembered and missed greatly as our "Perm Queen".

You had a unique talent for seeing the best in everyone and helping us grow in our careers. A favourite "Lisa" quote which you proudly announced on our Top Talent, "Better to have a hole in your team than an a**hole," will always make my laugh fondly in memory of you.
The joy you brought to every room and the way you could light up any space is something that can't be replicated. You were truly one of a kind, and your impact in Adecco will be felt forever. xx
Thank you for all of the fun times, the challenges and for always encouraging us to be the best version of ourselves, while somehow managing to get us in to trouble.
I still cannot believe that I am wont hear you scream my name across BSQ or shouting "Oi Oi" (plus many other things that will no doubt get me into trouble with HR).
Thanks for always bringing a smile to my face.
Sleep well my friend.

Sending love and the strength to cope at this difficult time to your precious family.

I remember my first year with Adecco, we had a perms day at BSQ, you gave me the most warmest welcome, open arms and saw potential in me that I didn't always see in myself.
I was nervous that day & you took the time to send me the loveliest, heart felt message, that changed my day!
My mum had the opportunity of meeting you & always spoke about how lovely you were & what a pleasure it was to know you.
You were all about the people & bringing a positive light to everyone's day, I will be forever grateful & lucky to have known and met you. xxx

You were taken back far too soon but I can still see you smiling and dancing somewhere lovely. You have left an amazing legacy and did more than most during the time you were here.
I feel so privileged to have known you and worked with you.
Love always, Carol x
Lisa's presence was such a big part of Adecco and her ability to make others feel valued and loved was truly special.
Our memories and all the funny stories will live on in our hearts for many years to come.
My deepest condolences go out to her family and friends during this difficult time.

You were simply the best and will always be remembered as the mischievous one. Thank you for all the laughter, joy, and unforgettable moments over the years. Your kindness, energy, and spirit touched so many lives, and we were truly blessed when you became part of Adecco all those years ago. Reading the memories shared by your friends, confirms what an incredible woman you were, and always will be.
To Lisa’s family, you had the most amazing mom, nanny, and friend. Our hearts are broken, and I can only imagine the depth of your loss. I hope you find strength in the love and memories that will always surround you.
There will only ever be one Lisa Phelps. You were taken far too soon, but you will forever hold a special place in my heart.

When I joined nearly six years ago, Lisa welcomed me with open arms, showing me the "Adecco Way" and guiding me through the onboarding process with so much advice, patience, and genuine care. I’ve always been deeply grateful for her kindness and willingness to help, which was just a part of who she was—a truly kind-hearted and selfless person.
Lisa’s radiant smile could light up a room, and her presence brought so much joy to everyone around her. She was a delight to be around, and her memory will forever live on in my heart. I will miss her dearly and treasure the moments we shared. Rest in peace, Lisa.
