With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Lena Hopkins who  passed away on June 29th, 2026 in Ocala, FL. 

It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of our beloved colleague, fierce advocate, and dear friend, Lena Hopkins.
For 27 years, Lena dedicated herself to our mission and to the people we serve. Her impact on our organization and our community is immeasurable. Through her unwavering commitment, compassion, and leadership, she touched the lives of thousands of clients and inspired countless colleagues who had the privilege of serving alongside her. Her work earned recognition at the local, state, and national levels, but those honors only tell part of her story. Lena's greatest legacy is the difference she made in the lives of others and the example she set for all of us. She truly was a PILLAR of our community, and of CLS.
