To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.
Obituary
Larry Maldonado Jr., 55, passed away on June 6, 2026.
Born on September 2, 1970, Larry was the son of Larry and Stella Maldonado. He was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Larry was known for his kind heart, artistic talent, and hardworking spirit. He was a skilled electrician and handyman who could build, repair, or figure out just about anything. He had a natural ability to work with his hands and was always willing to help others whenever he could.
One of Larry’s greatest joys was fishing. Whether casting a line, spending time outdoors, or simply enjoying the peace of nature, he found happiness in the simple things in life. Those who knew him will remember his energetic personality, playful spirit, and the way he could make others smile.
To his family, Larry was much more than the challenges he faced in life. He was a loving son who cared deeply for his parents, a proud father who loved his children, and a protective big brother who looked out for his siblings. His family will always cherish the memories of his laughter, his generosity, and the many ways he showed his love.
Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents and other loved ones who welcomed him home.
He is survived by his parents, Larry Sr. and Stella W. Maldonado; his five children, Angel Maldonado, Ashley Maldonado, Mike Maldonado, Taylor Maldonado, Larry Maldonado III, his younger brother Robert Maldonado, and sisters Debra Rowe and Stella Graff; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Though his journey in life was not always easy, Larry’s family chooses to remember the man they loved—his strength, his talents, his caring heart, and the memories he leaves behind.
A celebration of Larry’s life will be held with family and friends at a later date.
“Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, and very dear.” - Alex MacLean
