To Sanjay, Shrey, Sonu, Rajesh, Ishank and Swetha, please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved father and grandfather. I met him many times on his visits to the UAE, and immensely enjoyed his company. He was extraordinarily well informed, and was a delightful conversationalist on any subject. And such a wonderful story teller! Through those conversations and stories, I came to know of his compassionate and spiritual nature.

He more than lived up to the honorific title of Uncle, touching the lives of countless people, effortlessly inspiring and teaching us all with his dignity and kindness.

May your grief be lessened a tiny bit by knowing it is shared by so many. To God we belong and unto God we shall return. May he rest in peace.

“Today, we are here to celebrate the life of a man who was not only a grandfather but a source of boundless love, wisdom, and joy. Mama Ji had a way of making everyone feel special. Whether it was his warm smile, his hearty laugh, or the way he always had time to listen, he made every moment with him feel like a gift.

He taught us so much—not just through his words, but through his actions. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family were lessons in love that we will carry in our hearts forever.

Though we will miss him deeply, his legacy lives on in each of us. Every time we show kindness, laugh freely, or cherish a moment with those we love, we honor his memory. He may no longer be with us in person, but his spirit will forever be a part of our lives.

Mama Ji thank you for filling our world with love and laughter. You were a light in our lives, and though that light has dimmed, its warmth will never fade. Rest in peace, knowing you were deeply loved and will never be forgotten.”

I started working with Duggal Saheb in 1985 at the Secretary West MEA. We were also together in Jakarta from 1993 to 1995 and have been in constant touch since.

He has been like an elder brother for us. Extremely principled and clear in communication. Our entire family have got a lot of love from both Mrs Duggal and Duggal Saheb. His void can never be filled for us.

Vimla and I send our blessings to Sonu, Sunny and families to be strong and tide over this irreplaceable loss.

Dear Sanjay & Sonu lots of love to both and your respected family members. Pray to God that the departed soul of my respected bhai saheb may rest in eternal peace. I came in contact with Duggal Saheb in 1991 during his posting at Jakarta and eversince till his last days were friends and used to chat almost every week. During his last week at Mayapuri house we talked everyday. It's difficult to find such a noble personality . He was not only a freind but like a elder brother to me. I pay my sincere homage to his soul and pray that God may provide the family members with strength to face this tough time. Om Shanti.
