My Tribute To Aunty Kike. Ecc 7: 1 A good name is better than precious ointment and the day of death than the day of one’s birth. My mind has been full, thinking of what to write as a tribute to you my dearest Aunti Kike, The Royal peacock herself, Kwara o bad, Motunrayo, Alake, Iya Ajibola, Aya Kareem. It was a rude shock and an unpleasant new when I heard of your demise but in everything I give thanks to God for making our paths to cross since 1971. You were the first sister We had. You were a friend, encourager, gist partner, teacher and a great support to me and my family. I will surely miss your laughter, and words like ‘ka sama she dada’ your strong believe in Jesus, hard work and tenacity in business and most especially the last Friday all night pray with Daddy GO You will always say Taiwo Osun sun ni. Oloorun oshi. Wake up and pray. You were always grateful to God for His special favour to you.. I just want to give thanks to God who saw you through your small turbulent beginning, who gave you grace to know Jesus, and blessed you with your beautiful family and a heart of gold that has touched many and supported the Work of God in no small measure. You came you saw and you conquered glory, honour and praise to God almighty in Jesus name. Adieu My Dear Aunty, sleep on till we meet at the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Good afternoon Aunty Lolade. I hope you and your family are doing well. I am very sorry for your loss. I only briefly met your mother on a Sunday, and as I was talking with her joy, love kindness, oozed out, and it was very calming and peaceful. Now that she’s going to be with the Lord, it is a sad thing for the people here on earth, but a celebration in heaven. I pray that the Lord will comfort you on all sides and joy will never cease from your life.

Pastor Lolade, I was very saddened to hear about the loss of your mum. Though much words can't capture or resolve the grief you are feeling, I pray that you experience the love and comfort of God in all its expression in this season.
That His warm embrace will be tangible in this moment for you and your family. That the peace of God washes over you and your loved ones as you grieve and celebrate the amazing life of your mum.
May you and your family find strength from the Lord in this season and know His comfort.

Hi PD and PMrs,
It wasn't too long when we met your Mum.
She was as vibrant as ever and always made us cheer with her expressions whenever PD mentioned her on stage. Hearing about her passing has been very shattering- even though I remember Mummy being quite quiet at church, for some reason I have felt this particular departure. I know her loving memories will always be in your hearts so l pray that the love of those around you will help you through the days ahead.
Please know that I'm holding you in my thoughts and prayers for comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Today, as I honor my beloved sister, Misturah Kikelomo Motunrayo Alake Kareem, I am filled with a mix of sorrow and gratitude. Sorrow for the profound loss I feel, yet gratitude for the precious memories we shared that have become treasures in my heart. Misturah Alake wasn’t just my elder sister; she was my closest friend, my confidante, my guide through life. From our earliest days, we shared an unbreakable bond, one that grew deeper with each passing year. I was blessed to have someone so loving and compassionate to walk alongside me through childhood, to lean on through life’s ups and downs, and to laugh with over the little things only we understood. To her wonderful children, I want you to know how deeply your mother loved you. She was endlessly proud of each of you, and her every moment was filled with the desire to see you all thrive. She instilled in you her kindness, her strength, and her sense of compassion. Hold onto her love and the lessons she taught you—these will remain with you always. Even though she's no longer here physically, her spirit lives on in each of you, guiding and watching over you.
May her beautiful soul rest in perfect peace, and may God grant her eternal rest in paradise. I pray that God watches over and protects her children, guiding them with love and blessing their paths, and that He provides comfort and strength to her husband and to all of us who loved her dearly.Misturah, I know you are resting in peace now, in a place free from pain, and that brings me comfort. I promise to honor your memory by living fully and carrying forward the love and joy you gave us all. Until we meet again, dear sister, rest well. You will forever live on in our hearts."

Mrs Kikelomo Motunrayo Kareem will be greatly missed not only by her family members but also by the Community and the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Dear Kike, even though I barely knew you in your lifetime, your husband, TJ and I come a longway. From our 'A' Levels studies days at Oyo State College of Arts and Science, Ile Ife in 79/80s, to our cadet training days at the Nigerian Defence Academy in '87, TJ and I bonded extra ordinarily. We played soccer together at College and during our Cadet training days. TJ does not speak frivolously on any issue or personality. But when he did, as he often recounted the life and time of the momentous union with you, it could only mean you were, as the Yankees would say, one 'helluva woman' - an euphemism for an extra ordinary super woman. I call your hubby Tee-Jay, whilst other mates call him 'Baba Kareem' as a mark of respect for his uncommon wisdom and perceptions on sundry issues. If he highly eugeolizes his better half in the the esteemed manner he does at your untimely depature from mother earth, it must then be on account of the sterling quality and stuff you were made of. No doubt you reside in better and more glorious abode now and we cannot question the Great Arbiter for the reason He wants you nearer to Him. Rest in peace, as the rest of us await His final call to yonder. Good night, Kike. We look forward to fellowshiping with you in the bossom of our Lord when our time is up.
