Obituary
Kelly Moss Parker, beloved wife, daughter, sister, and daughter-in-law, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2026.
She will be profoundly missed but forever remembered for the love she so freely shared. Kelly brought immense light, joy, and laughter to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A lifelong learner, Kelly was a proud graduate of the Appomattox Regional Governor’s School. She went on to earn her undergraduate degree from Randolph-Macon College and later completed her master’s degree at Longwood University. Kelly channeled her creativity and passion for helping others into a career as an incredible teacher before transitioning into her role as a dedicated training specialist.
Kelly’s life was defined by her boundless creativity, kindness, and imagination, which she brought to everything she did, both at work and at home. She was a movie buff, an avid reader, and found great joy immersing herself in the worlds of Animal Crossing, LEGO, and Dungeons & Dragons.
Above all, Kelly loved deeply and wholeheartedly. She shared 11 wonderful years with her husband, Josh, building a life filled with laughter, friendship, unconditional love, and countless cherished memories. Her warmth, humor, and loving spirit made even the simplest moments special.
Her kind heart, vibrant imagination, and unwavering love left an indelible mark on the lives of her family and friends. Those fortunate enough to have known Kelly will carry a piece of her with them always.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Josh Parker; her loving parents, Molly and Scott Moss; her favorite sister and brother, Meghan and Brett; her caring parents-in-law, Kim and David Parker; and her precious dogs, Phoebe and Louise.
