Obituary

With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Karen, our beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend, who left this world on May 13, 2026, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born on December 12, 1969, Karen lived a life defined by unwavering strength, fierce loyalty, and an honesty that everyone around her could always count on. She spoke her mind with courage and conviction, and those who knew her understood that her honesty always came from a place of love and sincerity.

Karen was a devoted wife to her loving husband and a deeply cherished mother to her two daughters, who were the center of her world. Family meant everything to her. She gave her love freely, protected those she cared for with unmatched determination, and created a foundation of strength that will continue to guide her family for generations to come.

Her friendships were lasting and true. Karen stood beside the people she loved through every season of life, offering steadfast support, loyalty, laughter, and wisdom. Though strong in spirit, she also possessed a deeply caring heart that touched countless lives.

Even throughout her illness, Karen faced life with remarkable courage and resilience, showing the same strength that defined her entire life. While her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness, her love remains woven into the lives of her family forever.

Karen will continue watching over her husband and daughters with the same fierce devotion she carried throughout her life. Her guidance, strength, and love will live on as her children continue to grow and build their lives.

Karen will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

My dear friend, you mean so much to Mai and I, words can’t adequately describe how sadden we are. You are truly one of the most generous and loving souls that I was blessed to have met. You will be sorely missed in all of our days ahead. Glad we were able to share so many great memories!

I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. I taught Karen’s daughter Maddie in the 6th grade, and although our interactions were brief, I remember her for her kindness and support, and her ever-present smile. My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to the family.
