Memories are the treasures that time cannot steal.
Obituary
Julie Mae Klein passed away surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, stories, and love that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her.
Julie truly had a heart of gold. She was the kind of woman who would be there for you at the drop of a hat, no questions asked. If someone she loved needed her, she was there. She gave so much of herself to the people around her and loved with her whole heart. Julie never met a stranger and could talk to just about anyone. She was a talker through and through, and those who knew her will deeply miss the sound of her voice, her stories, her conversations, and the way she could make even an ordinary moment feel special just by being there.
Above all else, Julie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She shared her life with her loving husband John Joseph Klein for the past 40 years, and for over 32 years she worked faithfully by his side at Klein Fabricating. Their life together was built on love, family, hard work, and years of standing beside one another through all that life brought their way.
Julie loved her family deeply, and the greatest pieces of her will continue to live on through the generations she leaves behind. She is survived by her loving husband, John Joseph Klein; her son, Mark Allen Lottig; her daughter, Monica Faye Ayers; and her brother, Joe Pettry.
She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren and their families: Aaron Whitman; Quintin Ayers 2nd; Alexis Lottig and her children, Michael Sandifer and Lincoln Sandifer; Julia Lorfing and her husband, Nathan Lorfing, and their daughter, Adaline Ayers; Natalie Spedden and her husband, Taylor Spedden; Mary Brdecka and her husband, Justin Brdecka, and their children, Paisley Brdecka, Justin Brdecka Jr., and Johnny Brdecka; and Erika Westmoreland.
Julie was preceded in death by her mother, Ethyl Faye Aquino; her father, Jewett Mayo Pettry; her brother, Jewett Mayo Pettry Jr; and her grandmother, Hazel Webb. Her grandfather Basil Webb.
To know Julie was to know someone who loved deeply, gave freely, and was always willing to be there when someone needed her. Her absence leaves a silence that will be felt by everyone who was used to hearing her voice, sharing a conversation with her, or simply knowing she was only a phone call away.
Julie will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, extended family, friends, and every person fortunate enough to have been loved by her. Her heart of gold, her stories, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely will never be forgotten.
Though she is no longer here to answer the phone, tell another story, or sit and talk for hours, the love she gave will remain. It lives on in her husband, her children, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, and in every memory shared by those who loved her.
Julie Mae Klein was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed.
