Obituary

Julie Ann Englehart, born March 14, 1958, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her daughters, on September 19, 2026, at the age of 68. Julie was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose loving spirit enriched the lives of everyone who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents Curtis and Freda Englehart. She is survived by her daughters, Katherine and her husband, (Melvin), and Jennifer and her husband, (Ryan); her grandchildren, (Owen, Nora, and Isla); her sisters, Robin and her husband, (John), and Brenda and her husband (Mike); and many other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.

Throughout Julie’s long battle with cancer, she faced each day with remarkable courage, grace, and resilience. Even in the most difficult moments, she remained strong in spirit, meeting life’s challenges with bravery and positivity.

Julie’s creativity was evident in her passion for crafting, sewing, and quilting. She found immense joy and pride in creating beautiful things by hand, often gifting her creations to those around her. Her imaginative spirit inspired many and brought comfort and beauty into the world.

Her love, laughter, and memories will remain in our hearts forever. Although she is no longer with us, the courage, strength, and love she showed throughout her life will continue to inspire us. She will be remembered for her loving heart, kindness, determination, warmth, creativity, compassion, and the many ways she touched the lives of those who knew her.

To my beautiful sister. You touched many lives with your heart. You truly were a wonderful sister. I love you and will miss you but your memory will live on.

Aunt Julie was an amazing person. She had a contagious laugh and a sense of humor that was insightful and entertaining but also kind. I particularly loved when she would tell a story and her laughter would sort of running away with the ending. She was a gentle person who loved fiercely and I am so thankful that I had the privilege of being one of her “chickies”.
