Obituary
Josephine Kirkbride, 81, of Fontana, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026. She was born in San Bernardino and spent her life in the community she called home.
Josephine found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved music, singing, dancing, and rewatching her favorite movies. She also enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and working on puzzles. Music was always close to her heart, and she especially loved listening to artists such as Linda Ronstadt, Sonia López, and ABBA.
Above all, Josephine treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and happiness.
She is survived by her children, Virginia Pierce, Jessie “Toni” Rodriguez, and William Kirkbride, as well as her beloved grandchildren Bianca, Jeanette, Alexis, Alyssa, Jiselle, and Joseph and great-grandchildren, who will continue to cherish her memory.
Josephine will be remembered for the joy she found in music, laughter, and the love she shared with her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
In accordance with her wishes, no funeral or memorial services will be held. The family finds comfort knowing she is now at peace.
