where there is hatred, let me sow love….

Bill was a grateful 47 year member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He sponsored many men and participated in service.
Bill enjoyed fishing at the cabin and duck hunting for many years. He liked reading spy novels and mysteries and television police dramas (Midsomer Murders was a favorite) and sitcoms (never enough Big Bang Theory) and especially watching the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
Bill was a friend to all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

He was primary in starting The Path on Sundays and the Early Birds/Squad#10 on Tuesday, first at TwinLakes, later moving to Robbinsdale.
These groups were the mortar cementing the bricks of my sober life. I’ll always be mindful and grateful of his leading by example.

I remember there was Bill Harley and me. Went to a program to Quit smoking. Bill was the only one who made it.
