Obituary

John Olufunmi Osho of Little Canada, Minnesota, born on January 22, 1947, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026, at the age of 79. John leaves behind a remarkable legacy of faith, humility, love, and service to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mrs. Oluwemimo Omowunmi Osho; his five cherished children—Oluseun Osho, Dr. Olufemi Osho, Oluseyi Ighodalo-Osho, Dr. Olaolu Ikugbagbe-Osho, and Dr. Ayokunle Osho—their spouses, and his treasured grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride throughout his life.

John was known for his unwavering faith and devoted service to others. His gentle spirit, warm smile, wisdom, and humility touched the hearts of family, friends, and all those he met. He was deeply passionate about automobiles, always appreciating the beauty and craftsmanship of fine cars. Yet, above all, John valued personal relationships. He found true happiness in gathering with family, visiting relatives and in-laws, and flourishing those bonds that meant so much to him. His home and heart were always open, welcoming all with kindness and understanding.

Though he will be greatly missed, we celebrate a life richly lived—a life anchored in love, unity, and a quiet yet steadfast strength. John’s memory will remain a blessing, and his legacy will continue to inspire for generations to come.

A Wake Keeping and Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Oakwood Funeral Home, 2585 Stillwater Rd E, Maplewood, MN 55119.

May the angels lead him into paradise, and may his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
