Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Pritchard on March 3, 2024. Born in 1973, John blessed the world with his vibrant spirit for fifty years.
John is survived by his wife, Tina Pritchard; his son, Jacob Pritchard; his daughter, Amy Pritchard; his sister, Cloie Wilson; and his brother, George Holt. He is predeceased by his mother, Rosa Holt; his father, John Pritchard; his sister, Marcie McSpadden; and his sister, Norma Hogg.

John was born in Americus GA in 1973, to John Pritchard and Rosa Holt. Throughout his time growing up, he enjoyed playing sports and watching wrestling events with his family. He worked for many years as an electrician. In 1996, he married the love of his life, Tina Pritchard. They were blessed with two children: a son, Jacob Pritchard, and a daughter, Amy Pritchard.

When not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family, watching sports, and attending professional wrestling events. John was a beacon of strength throughout his life, bringing joy and wisdom to those around him. His memory continues to inspire those who were lucky enough to know him. His loss is deeply felt, but his undying spirit will always be remembered.

John's death was unexpected, and the family is working through making the final arrangements. We appreciate everyone’s kind wishes, and gratitude during this time of grief. In lieu of flowers or gifts, any donations will be used to go towards creating a memorial fund at our church, Eastside Baptist Church of Americus GA, in John’s honor.

Always a good time with my friend, John. Anytime we got the chance to go out and play billiards, grab a beer and watch football was a night well spent.
