Joan Louise (Goodell) Bowers, of Coupeville, Washington, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on December 16, 1942, Joan’s life was a testament to generosity, creativity, and steadfast courage.
Joan was the beloved wife of Albert Bowers, and together they raised four children who were the pride and joy of her life. She was known for her quick wit and silly sense of humor, brightening the days of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A woman of deep faith, Joan found great joy and meaning in studying the Bible and exploring Jewish history. Her dedication to her beliefs was matched by her unwavering desire to help others. She spent countless hours sewing and crafting, often creating thoughtful gifts and practical items for those in need. Joan believed in living simply and frugally, always making the most of what she had to serve her family and her community.
Hardworking and resourceful, Joan inspired those around her with her resilience and tireless dedication to her friends and loved ones. Her legacy of kindness, creative spirit, and generosity will be treasured by all those, both near and far, who knew her and were touched by her love and generosity. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Leah and Dawn, granddaughters Josey, Jordyn and Rebeka, grandson Joshua.
