Obituary

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Jim Sheridan, who was born on June 17, 1943 and passed away on September 12, 2026 in Lincoln, CA

Jim was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, son of Jack and Grace Sheridan. After serving three years in the US Army, Jim completed a Masters of Divinity at Denver Seminary. He married Sandra Nelson June 9, 1973 and raised 4 children while being a pastor, educator and hospice chaplain. He enjoyed coaching his kids' sports teams, camping in Carpinteria and Mt. Hermon with his family, following his favorite sports teams, evangelizing and disciplining, and spoiling his dogs. 
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sandi, his 4 children; Tina Hoover and her husband Mark, Rex Sheridan and his wife Michelle, Heidi Sheridan and Troy Sheridan, and 5 grand children, Eli Hoover, Emily Sheridan, Bryn Hoover, Jacob Sheridan and Taylor Sheridan.
