Obituary

Jeremy, 43, passed away suddenly on September 18, 2026, in Texas. Born January 17, 1983, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Jeremy lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, laughter, and a deep love for the people he called family and friends.
Throughout his life, Jeremy wore many hats. He worked in the oil field, safety and training, AmeriGas, Chambers Oil, Windstream, life insurance, and other roles along the way. But of all the jobs and titles Jeremy held, few meant as much to him as being a firefighter.

Jeremy absolutely loved the fire service. He found a second home and a second family with BCFR, where he not only fought fires but also served as an instructor, helping train and develop the next generation of firefighters. He loved the big red trucks, the brotherhood and sisterhood of the fire service, and the opportunity to teach others. Those who worked beside him knew how much being part of that family meant to him.

Jeremy was kind, goofy, generous, and always willing to listen. He had a way of making people feel welcome and would give whatever he could—his time, knowledge, support, or simply a helping hand—to see someone else succeed. Over the years, he built friendships everywhere he went and became someone many people knew they could call when they needed him. Jeremy loved hard, and he loved his family fiercely.

He is remembered with immeasurable love by his fiancée, Rebecca Allison, and his children, Hayden Morgan and Trey Allison, who were among the greatest joys of his life. The life and family they built together meant everything to him.
When Jeremy wasn't working, he enjoyed fishing, shooting, working out, and spending time at the beach. The beach was his calming place a place where he could simply relax, breathe, and find peace.

Jeremy's life ended far too soon, but the impact he made cannot be measured by the number of years he was here. It lives on in the people he helped, the firefighters he trained, the friendships he built, the stories that will continue to be told, and most of all, in the family he loved so deeply.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, September 28, 2026, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at BCFR Headquarters. Family, friends, fellow firefighters, and all who knew and loved Jeremy are invited to attend and celebrate his life. Those who wish to share a story or memory of Jeremy will have an opportunity to do so.

Jeremy will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Jeremy will truly be missed. He lived life to the fullest and was always the life of the party. Bringing smiles and laughter to my sister and nephews will be something we always get to cherish.
