My darling darling friend. I’m so sorry I haven’t come to say goodbye. Despite trying with all my strength, my anxiety won. I know you would understand.
So I’m currently sitting in one of our spots, thinking about all the giggles and pimms we had.
Omg, have you come back as a squirrel 🐿️. There’s one right up close to me, just staring at me. Made me smile amongst the tears.

Bloody miss you, my crazy friend. You’ll never know what it has meant to me how close we became, you’ve been my rock. Lots of love x x ♥️ x

Jen and I were inseparable in our early twenties. We both worked at Friday-Ad and Midnight Blues together, and spent all of our spare time joined at the hip. I’ll always remember an entire summer of driving between Uckfield and Brighton with the car windows down whilst singing along to our favourite songs at the top of our voices, late nights in Buddies, getting tattoos, going clubbing in PVC catsuits on a very significant day (no one else on this earth could have convinced me to do that!!), dancing, Scottish rugby players (🫣), and so so much more. But more than anything I will never forget her being the most beautiful person inside and out… she had the most fantastic presence, was the life and soul, but also the most caring, thoughtful friend who I will miss forever. When our jobs took us in different directions (me travelling around Europe and Jen with Virgin) we struggled to see each other as much. We stayed in touch and shared life’s ups and downs with each other, but regrettably never got the chance to follow through on our promise to get together soon. We may not have seen each other for a while but I will always, always think of her, and remember the many amazing memories we shared. Sleep tight my beautiful friend.
Love you lots, Jen…

So incredibly sad to hear this news about Jen. I will always remember her as the fun-loving and cheeky person I knew years ago, so full of life and always quick to smile and laugh.

My heartfelt condolences to Deirdre, Lisa and Lara. This is a tragic and unfair loss and my thoughts are with you all at this very difficult time.

Jen was a true force of nature—fiery, funny, and always ready with a sharp wit that could light up the room. I’ve known Jen and her wonderful family since I was at primary school, and from the start, she was a brilliant, hilarious spark that made everything better. She had a knack for making life feel a little brighter and a lot more fun. Heaven has gained a cracking angel —she’ll be causing mischief up there, no doubt! Jen, you’ll forever be remembered for your infectious laugh, your big heart, and your amazing sense of humor.

Ah lovely, beautiful Jen. I worked with you at Friday-Ad, good times & great chats.
When we left, we kept in contact, but hadn’t seen each other in ages.
You are so brave, strong, courageous and fought.
You enjoyed life.

You are missed. So sorry your life has been cut short, but now you are out of pain. Be free, go dancing, singing and party up there. Lots of love Claire xxx

Ps I couldn’t find a photo of Friday-Ad days ..

Jen was beautiful both inside and out but my most endearing memories of her involve her being incredibly brave. I remember her first karaoke. It was on the Brighton Pier. She was terrified but really wanted to do it. We walked up and down a few times then she stopped and said "Fuck this, I'm doing it!" She went up on the stage and sang 'I Saw The Sign' by Ace of Bass. She was excellent and needless to say, everyone loved her. And that was the beginning of a long love of karaoke. A huge loss. Deirdre, Lisa and Lara, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Richard.

Dearest Jen, we only worked together for a short time at Ashdown Park Hotel. But during COVID we got thrown together on late shifts. I’ll never forget our kebab and movie nights. Bringing Balu down and him doing the security walks with either you or me. The time you took him to East wing and him refusing to go any further on 1st floor so the pair of you decided to get soaked by coming back on the outside as something had freaked you both out lol. Then the time I went to get him and you stayed outside because you could hear children crying 😂 the times the walkie talkies were shouting “help” the reception lights flashing. Wow were we freaked but we laughed about it! Memories held forever. RIP sweet lady.

We used to sing Paradise By The Dashboard Light (amongst other things) together at karaoke. Jen was a naturally kind and friendly soul and will be sorely missed. x

Dear Deirdre and the Girls, so so sorry to hear that Jenny passed. We remember her as the little beautiful girl coming to our St.Philip’s Church with you all! Later… she was in our Christopher’s class, always smiling and happy! You all will be in our thoughts and prayers now and on the day of funeral! Hoping to see Deirdre in the church! All our love to you all and God’s blessings in this so difficult time!
