Obituary
James “Andy” Duke Andrews passed away Sunday evening September 15 surrounded by family and loved ones. Andy was a retired US Army Colonel after 30 years of service to his country. Although his service outlined his career, Andy was passionate and interested in about everything.
Throughout his lifetime he was involved in sharp shooter competitions, philanthropic bicycle races, Boy Scouts of America and coaching his son’s team sports.
Andy was proceeded in death by his father WC Andrews, his mother Ann Naomi Duke Miller and his brother Bradley Andrews. He is survived by his two sons Jacob and Joshua Andrews, their wives Ruby and Rachel Andrews, and two grandchildren Kian Singh Andrews and Cecilia Mabel Andrews.
Funeral services to be held at Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church in Salem, VA October 5th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers please consider donation to Star City Greyhound Adoption.
