Obituary
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Jack Sheppard.
Jack is remembered by family and friends as a fun, loving, generous person. He cared deeply about family, maintained life-long friends, and enjoyed being in the company of others. He enjoyed visiting far-off family members whenever he could. He was outgoing and enjoyed talking to people.
Jack was an enthusiast of sports, trains, music, food, gardening, collectibles, and more. In his younger years, he enjoyed many hobbies including softball, bowling, drumming in a band, etc., often taking his kids along with him. He enjoyed exploring and would always be off driving around somewhere, often taking us on adventures. He was enthusiastic and often had grand ideas for things he wanted to do, even if they weren't practical.
Unfortunately, his recent years were beset with health issues which limited his ability to enjoy many of the things he loved to do, or travel to see the people he wanted to visit, but he continued to be hopeful. Despite his health issues, his passing was unexpectedly sudden. However, he went peacefully at home.
Jack will be remembered and missed my family, friends, and the others who knew him. Please join us in sharing your memories.
