I knew Jackie best through the role she played in Casey’s life—steadfast, loving, and fully present. You could feel their connection at family gatherings, and it was clear how much joy Jackie took in being part of Casey’s world.
When my daughters were little, Jackie joined us for early birthdays, performances, and holidays. She carried herself with warmth and elegance, always thoughtfully put together and bringing her own creative touch to each occasion. One memory that stands out is from Adin’s carnival-themed 7th birthday party, when Jackie stepped in as a fortune-teller and completely captivated the kids with her card readings. It was a glimpse of her playful, imaginative side.
This is how I remember her—a gracious presence, a creative spirit, and someone who showed up with care and intention.

I remember Jackie Doyle for her beauty, grace, intelligence and unwavering character. She was deeply respected by both students and faculty. Jackie was a true lady, and someone I felt incredibly fortunate to work alongside at Otis College. Jackie was one of the last of the great, published fashion illustrators. She possessed a rare and discerning eye for beauty, elegance, and style. It was mesmerizing to watch how with just a few perfect strokes of her pencil, she could capture the soul of a gesture or the graceful tilt of a model’s head. Jackie was truly a master of fashion illustration.
Equally remarkable was her devotion as a professor. She was deeply loved by her students, who flourished under her thoughtful guidance and mentorship. I cherish memories of visiting Jackie in Sedona with colleagues, where she welcomed us so warmly into her home. Her faith, the deep love she shared with her dear husband Gene, and her adoration for her four children, shone brightly and brought her great joy. Jackie had a heart of gold and the compassion of an angel. I hold her family close in my thoughts and share in their grief for the loss of an extraordinary woman, devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother. Her legacy lives on in the countless artists she inspired, the elegance she captured on paper, and the enduring impact she made on all who had the privilege of knowing her. I miss and love you, dearest Jackie.

I’ll always remember Jackie’s laugh. Often inspired by her granddaughter, it was rich and warm and deeply felt. Jackie was an inspiring and determined creative being and I often felt that the delight and joy she expressed around her family was, in some ways, enriched by seeing their unique creative sparks light up around her. May her memory be a blessing and may it live on in all of us.

I will always think of Jackie at her birthday party at the Miramar. Talk about lively, lovely and glamorous! I was amazed at her many talents and mesmerized by her illustrations.

Jackie’s love of art and music was such an inspiration to me. One my favorite memories of her will be seeing her and her (favorite) granddaughter in the crowd of a show I played. Constantly moving and dancing and waiving at me. She always let music and art move her in all ways and seeing her pass that on that Casey will always bring me joy

A few years ago, before Gene’s health was in decline, I took Jackie to Scottsdale to do a little window shopping! It was a beautiful day and we had a delicious lunch together! We had some sweet conversations that day - really sweet memories!!!!
