Gona Flora Catherine Rao

" Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal ".
1 Thessalonians 3:12 -13
12 May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. 13 May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.

“Romans 14:8 says, "For if we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord; so then, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's".
Mrs. G Flora Catherine Rao passed away this morning at the age of eighty-nine. She was loved dearly and will be missed even more dearly. But we know she ran a great race and showed us how to finish with courage, grace, and faith. Her heart was so abounding in love that she freely gave it to anyone she sensed needed it, even without their asking, with her spiritual gift of intercession. We thank Him for the Christian stewardship she demonstrated that everything we have is a gift from God, and that we should be grateful and generous with those gifts. Love you, my dearest mother…fly away an angel !

Aunty Flora will always have a Special Place in our hearts.
🙏🙏🙏
I loved our in-person time in 2018 along with Malini and Beulah at Chennai airport. Then again I had the opportunity to see her in 2022 along with Viji.

I had the privilege of spending some memorable times with your mom and dad at the residence in MMC campus when we were schooling. There are endless stories which we recall whenever we school buddies meet.
Me and my family had a very special bonding with her till her last days. She had a sweet discussion with my daughter sneha at the hospital and blessed her before she moved to Pune.
I am glad that the almighty gave me, my family and my friends to see her in her good memories and got her last blessings.
As long as she was active she never missed to pray and bless us all everyday with her WhatsApp messages. Though we will miss her physically i am sure she will continue to bless us all devinly.
I am glad that you pulled out time from your demanding professional life and spent your full time to see her thru peacefully and did all that a son can do to their parents. As your school buddies we are proud of you Sam.
Regards
