Obituary

Gloria J. Moening (75), a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed on April 17, 2024, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester Minnesota. She was born on July 24, 1948, to proud parents in Lima, Ohio. Gloria was a devoted wife to Steven Moening and a loving mother to their four children.

Gloria had a heart of gold and was known for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity. She had a special way of always listening and making everyone around her feel loved and cared for. Her family was the center of her world, and she always put their needs above her own.

Gloria enjoyed traveling, camping, cycling, playing board games, baking Christmas cookies with her grandchildren, and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes. She had a zest for life and a contagious enthusiasm that touched all who knew her.

Gloria will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Rest in peace, dear Gloria. You will never be forgotten.

Service

Please join us to honor Gloria via sharing of sympathy for her family and memories together as we bring her back to Ohio as she is already home with the Lord.

We will come together to remember the wonderful person she was to us and how she touched our lives. While we mourn the loss of our dear wife, mother, and friend...we also aim to cherish the moments shared and the joy brought into our lives by Gloria.

Your presence would mean a great deal to us during this time of remembrance and reflection and ahead of our first Mother's Day without her.

Thank you,
The Moening Family
