Obituary
Geoffrey passed away peacefully on the 26th August 2025 at Mountbatten Hampshire Hospice, surrounded by love and compassion. He was 75.
A man of quiet strength and unwavering kindness, Geoff lived with Parkinson’s for 25 years, never letting it define him.
His determination, humour, and generosity touched everyone who knew him. Whether offering a helping hand, a thoughtful word, or simply his steady presence, Geoff made people feel seen and valued.
He is deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on in the stories we share, the music he loved, and the moments of grace he gave us.
A celebration of Geoff’s life will be held on 18th September 2025 at Test Valley Crematorium at 12pm..
In keeping with his wishes, guests are invited to wear colours or clothing that feels personal—no black attire, necessary.
Geoff spent his final two weeks at Mountbatten Hampshire (formerly The Countess Mountbatten Hospice), where he received truly compassionate and dignified care. In honour of the support they gave him and the comfort they offered our family, we kindly invite donations to help them continue their extraordinary work. You can donate directly via Mountbatten Hampshire’s official donation page here.
