Gay Eileen Hoffmeyer, age 63, passed away on December 23, 2025. Born on June 27, 1961, Gay’s life was marked by complexity, challenge, and moments of reflection that shaped her journey.
In her passing, we pause to acknowledge the mystery of life, the weight of personal struggle, and the hope that comes with rest beyond this world. May she now know peace, release from earthly burdens, and clarity beyond what this life allowed.
Gay is survived by her children: Ivy, Kyle, and Mitchell; and her grandchildren: Realynn, Makayla, Brooke, Connor, and Alyssa, who carry forward her legacy into the next generation. She is also survived by her siblings: Leonard Seal, Judy Snyder, and Geri Brink.
This notice honors the closing of a life and the space left behind. May those who remain find healing, strength, and grace as they move forward.

Gay and I used to be friends even before we went to school. Lost touch by the time I was 11 or 12. But i remember she and I camping at Watkins Glen, eating all my mom's spaghetti sauce she had on tge oven. ALL of it!! Dleepove4s when the moved off Maple Ave. I remember eating like 10 ears of corn her mom made! Lots of very young children shenanigans!She was so much fun. I hope you're at peacece, Gay. Sorry for your loss, Judy, Gerri and Lenny!

I remember how excited she was when my mom ( ivy) showed her my dance performances and she would smile and tell me how beautiful I was.
