Obituary
It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Frances Mary Arnold. Fran departed this world on December 27, 2024, just ten days after celebrating her 80th birthday. The day after her birthday, Fran suffered a fall which resulted in a Traumatic Brain Injury. Within a few days, we were faced with the heartbreaking decision of placing Fran in Hospice Care.
Born on December 17th, 1944, in Oneida, NY, Fran was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, Mema, family member, and friend who left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Fran was predeceased by Kenneth M Arnold (son), Marion R Leonard (mother), John R Arnold (husband), and John W Fennell (partner). Fran is survived by Daniel J Arnold (son), Mary P Dickson (daughter), four grandchildren: Matthew S Dickson, Nicole M Dickson, Dylan R Arnold, Bryan P Arnold, Kaelani R Zayas (great-grandchild), Shirley A Vadala (sister), two nieces, three great nieces, three great nephews, along with numerous other family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Fran also remained close to her in-laws, always treating them as blood relatives.
Fran graduated from Oneida High School, Suny @Morrisville, NY (AS Degree), Advent Health University (AS Degree), Orlando Technical College and various other educational programs. Professionally, Fran began her career as an accountant after graduating from college. After moving to Florida, she became a Certified Residential Contractor, Certified Building Contractor, Certified General Contractor, Certified SBCC Building Inspector, Certified U.S. Veterans Plans Examiner, Licensed Real Estate Broker, and Licensed Mortgage Broker. Furthermore, she pursued a career in nursing, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse and Licensed Registered Nurse, which gave her the ability to take care of her mother in her later years,
As a family historian, she maintained the family trees for her relatives Anna Stabb Brown, Donald Stabb, Marion Nadeau Leonard, Lee O Nadeau, Harriet Nadeau Eckhard, Helena and Robert Arnold. Family was the most important thing in her life, followed by a love for learning and her professions. Although Fran will be deeply missed by her family and friends, she will never be forgotten!
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Central Church of Christ, 875 Oak Drive, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
