Obituary
Engr. Folaranmi Moses Olasehinde was born on 22 August 1951 in Iloffa, Oke-Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State, Nigeria.
He began his educational journey at St. Thomas Catholic Primary School, Odo-Owa, where he completed his primary education in 1967. He proceeded to Government Secondary School, Ilorin, where he studied from 1968 to 1972, before gaining admission to Kaduna Polytechnic, where he obtained his engineering qualification between 1973 and 1978. He completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Bauchi State during the 1978/1979 service year.
On 22 December 1979, he married the love of his life, Mrs. Felicia Iyabode Olasehinde. Their marriage was blessed with five children and became the foundation of a close-knit and loving family.
Engr. Olasehinde began his professional career with Hivo Engineering Company and later worked with Rif-Kamoru Engineering. Driven by diligence, vision, and an entrepreneurial spirit, he went on to establish several successful businesses, including Fam-Mos Associates, Batoy Fams Nigeria Limited, and MIC-WEB Nigeria Limited.
His passion for service extended beyond engineering into public life. In 1998, he was elected to represent his constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly. He later served as Chairman of the Transition Committee of Oke-Ero Local Government, where he contributed to the development of his community with dedication and integrity. Following his public service, he returned to private practice.
Affectionately known as "GG" and "Milo" among friends and classmates, Engr. Olasehinde was admired for his warmth, generosity, humility, and unwavering loyalty. He maintained a lifelong bond with his classmates from Government Secondary School, Ilorin, cherishing friendships that endured for decades.
On Tuesday, 28 July 2026, Engr. Folaranmi Moses Olasehinde peacefully answered the Master's call and entered eternal rest. He was 74 years old. He will be laid to rest on Friday, 31 July 2026, at his residence in Iloffa, Kwara State.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mrs. Felicia Iyabode Olasehinde; his five children—Akinloye, Olatunde, Olatayo, Olateju, and Olatunji; one son-in-law; four daughters-in-law; eight cherished grandchildren; five beloved sisters; and numerous relatives, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers.
Though he has departed this earthly life, his legacy of faith, integrity, service, hard work, and devotion to family will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mr Tayo has been an incredible mentor to me since my time as an intern at EEMS. He welcomed me into his home, treated me like family. Through his generosity, kindness, and unwavering willingness to invest in others, he taught me what it truly means to have a large heart. The values he lives by speak volumes about the man who raised him.

I lack words to describe what you meant to many of us. Your transition merely reiterates the phrase that; In the end, we will all crossover… What will matter afterwards is how we lived, what we built and the legacies we leave behind.

My 2nd Daddy… Words fail me as I struggle to come to terms with your painful departure. Your exit has left a deep void in our hearts, and the pain of losing you is one that words cannot fully express.
You were a loving father, a source of wisdom, strength, guidance, and unwavering support. Your kindness, warmth, and the beautiful memories you created will forever remain etched in our hearts. You touched lives in ways that will never be forgotten, and your legacy will continue to speak for you.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we are comforted by the knowledge that you lived a meaningful life and that your departure is a glorious homecoming to be with your Maker. We will miss your presence, your voice, your love, and everything that made you so special to us.
Thank you, Daddy, for the love you gave, the lives you impacted, and the beautiful memories you left behind. Though your physical presence is gone, your legacy lives on in us.
