It came to me as a rude shock the passing unto glory of our beloved pastor Femi Bamisaiye. He is like a father figure to me and my family. I got to know him when my wife was in school of Midwifery in Ado Ekiti. I remember vividly how he took good care of her, took her as though she was her daughter and make sure she was okay throughout her stay in the school.
He was the governor of the feast in our wedding on 4th July, 2015. I will never forget his sacrifices and fatherly advise he also gave to us.
The last time I saw him was in Abuja when he came for the wedding of a sister. He was very happy to see me and even brought something for the family, full of advise and even left some of the gift he collected to me.
I have no doubt that you are resting in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ, till we meet to part no more. We will forever missed your advise and fatherly roles you have play to us.
We Love Sir but God loves you most.

It was truly shocking to hear of your passing from this terrestrial realm.
Your memory remains very fresh in my heart, especially our interaction in Akure last October during the funeral service of Pst. T. F. Oluwafemi.
You were always so helpful whenever you were needed,
especially, when a believer is posted to Ekiti state by NYSC.

May your soul rest peacefully in the bosom of Abraham.

Adieu, until the resurrection morning.

Tribute to a Dear Pastor and Foundational Member.

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 Cor 5:1
These words of consolation from God’s word are what give us strength in a time like this. Though we wonder why the test, when we try to do our best, but we surely know that we’ll understand it better by and by.
You were an active foundational member of Bethel Tabernacle Akure and we feel so proud of your vibrance, presence and activeness in all our programs while you were here with us which we’ll greatly miss.
We saw your concerns and efforts regarding the welfare of the church before and after the recent transition of our beloved Pastor T.F Oluwafemi.
You were a true Shepherd, a Preacher of the Undiluted Word and a great supporter whose vacuum will be very hard to fill but we find comfort in God’s word.
Rest Thee Well, Hero of Faith.
Rest Thee Well, Soldier of the Cross.

Last month, my heart experienced a loss words can hardly explain when my beloved pastor passed to glory. He was more than a spiritual leader to me,he was a father. Like the Scripture says in 1 Corinthians 4:15, “Though you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers.” He was truly that father to me. He nurtured my faith, corrected me with gentleness, and covered me with prayers. His love was sincere, his counsel was wise, and his life was a living testimony of Christ.
He led with humility and strength, just as Hebrews 13:7 reminds us to remember those who have spoken the word of God to us, whose faith we are to follow. He didn’t just preach about love, faith, and holiness,he walked in them daily. In moments when I felt weak, he reminded me of God’s promises. In times of confusion, his words brought clarity and peace. He was a role model whose footsteps pointed straight to Jesus.
Oh, how I miss him. I miss his powerful prayers, his comforting voice, his warm smile, and the way he would say, “GOD IS IN CONTROL.” My heart aches, yet I hold on to the assurance of 2 Timothy 4:7–8: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” Truly, he fought, he finished, and he kept the faith.
Though tears fall, I find comfort in God’s promise in Revelation 14:13, “Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord.” I believe he is resting in glory, rejoicing in the presence of the Father. And I hold tightly to the hope in 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17—that one day, when my own time comes, I will see him again in eternal glory.
Until that beautiful reunion, I will honor his legacy by living out the faith he taught me, carrying his words in my heart, and striving to be the person he prayed I would become. My father in the Lord, you may be gone from my sight, but you will never be gone from my heart.

A TESTIMONY IN HONOR OF MY PASTOR
Today, I write with a heart full of gratitude and deep remembrance as I honor my pastor, a truly good leader and a remarkable role model. Though he has passed on, his impact remains alive in my life and in the lives of many others.
He was more than just a pastor; he was a shepherd who genuinely cared. His leadership was not built on authority alone, but on love, wisdom, and example. He led with integrity. He spoke with conviction. He lived what he preached.
As a role model, he showed us what it means to serve God faithfully and to treat people with kindness and respect. His life was a living sermon. Through his actions, he taught us discipline, humility, and unwavering faith. Watching him lead made me understand that true leadership is about service and sacrifice.
Even though he is no longer physically present, the lessons he planted in my heart continue to guide me. His words still echo in my mind. His prayers still strengthen my spirit. His example still challenges me to be better.
I am grateful to have been led by such a man. His legacy will not fade because it lives in the character he helped build in us. May his soul rest in peace, and may we continue to walk in the light he showed us.

TRIBUTE TO MY PASTOR AND MENTOR

Today, we gather with heavy hearts, yet with gratitude to God as we celebrate the life of a great servant of the Most High, our pastor, our mentor, our father in faith. My Pastor was more than a preacher behind the pulpit. He was a shepherd who truly cared for his flock. He carried our burdens in prayer, corrected us with love, encouraged us in weakness and pointed us constantly towards Christ.

His life was a sermon, one of humility, sacrifice, faith and unwavering devotion to God’s work. Though we mourn his departure, we rejoice knowing that he has finished his race and kept the faith. The seeds he planted will continue to grow. The lessons he taught will continue to guide us. The legacy he leaves behind will never fade.

A Tribute to a Pastor, Father, and Mentor

As mortals are meant to pass through the sands of time, so also have you passed — and made your mark on me.

When I came in as a student, I was young, raw, and not who I am today. You always saw the potential in me even when it was not yet obvious. You believed in me and supported whatever wild vision or dream I had. If I could think of it, you would always make me know it was possible. I remember your fatherly advice and personal mentorship anytime an idea popped into my head and I discussed it with you. One thing was consistent — you believed.

When I had a spiritual breakdown and needed to find my way, you guided me, believed in me, and even gave me opportunities many pastors would not. You believed in every iota of my life — physically, spiritually, and in every other way. You were so humble and very approachable. I became a solid Christian because of your guidance and how easy you made living the Christian life.

You brought us under your roof and cared for me as your biological child. When I wrote my book, you took the time to read it, corrected it, and encouraged me to publish. You were a shield and a parent in every way. You never hid your feelings toward me. You never acted like the big man you were around us — I was simply your non-biological child.

You taught us to be hardworking, innovative, and responsible — not just to be useful to the body of Christ, but also to society. You taught me to always live a life of service to God and to ensure I become relevant and useful wherever I find myself. You were my role model.

As long as I live as a Christian, your footprints will always be reflected in my life — in the way I treat others and in my reverence for the Word.

Thank you for being the best mentor I met at the time it mattered most. I love you, sir, and I hope to meet you again for a blissful reunion beyond the curtain of time.

Your son,

A Tribute to a Father in Every Way

Today, I honor a man who has been more than a pastor to me — he has been like a father.
You have not only preached the Word of God, but you have lived it. In a world where many speak, you showed me what love, kindness, and true leadership look like. When I was in school and needed a place to stay, you opened not just your house, but your heart. You gave me shelter, guidance, and a sense of belonging. That is something I will never forget.

You didn’t just mentor me — you shaped me. Through your prayers, your advice, your correction, and your encouragement, you helped me grow into a stronger, wiser person. You believed in me even when I doubted myself. You stood by me when I needed support the most.

Like a father, you protected, provided, and guided. Like a pastor, you led me closer to God. And like a mentor, you showed me how to walk with integrity and purpose.
Your life is a testimony of goodness, sacrifice, and faith. I am deeply grateful for the conversations we shared, and the lessons you taught me — both spoken and unspoken.

Thank you for being the kind of man who changes lives quietly but powerfully. Thank you for being a father figure, a pastor, and a true blessing to me.

Rest on, great man of God.
Rest on, my father in faith.
Rest on till we meet again in the bosom of Christ.
Your legacy lives on in me and in everyone whose life you touched.

With love and gratitude.

TRIBUTE TO MY BROTHER
Words fail me right now, when I came briefly to check on you at Supreme Hospital, you were hopefully cheerful and happy that very soon you will be discharge only for the story to change. It was like a mere dream till now.
Your transition to Glory at this moment of time was a colossal loss that we mourn deeply, but we have taken solace in God’s unfailing word that "this is the beginning of a new life".
Yes, we are missing you greatly but the comforting news is that, since you died in Christ Jesus, you are only sleeping in your maker, I will meet my precious brother by His grace in the resurrection morning .
You were such a man that feared God, contentment and hard-working .
May the holy Spirit the Comforter continue to comfort the entire family of BAMISAYES and the brethren, particularly your wife and the children.
Bro Kehinde, as I often called him, has gone to a better place (heaven)- a prepared place for a prepared people for here we have no continuing city but seek for one to come. Heb 13:14.
Bro as you have a re-union with our late parents (MR & MRS J.I BAMISAYE), your mentors, PAST. OLU OLUSUNDE, PAST T.F OLUWAFEMI and host of Saints that had gone before you ,rest on in the bosom of your creator and linger at the Eastern Gate till the much

Dear Daddy, as I fondly called you,

My heart is full of gratitude when I think of the love and care you showed me, especially during my school days. You were far more than a pastor to me — you were truly a father. You took me in as your own, welcomed me into your home, and surrounded me with a kind of warmth and safety I will never forget.

You didn’t just preach love, you lived it. You showed it in your kindness, your guidance, and in the way you always made me feel seen, valued, and at home. I miss your jokes with me. I miss hearing you call me “Omo Ibadan,” and how I would answer you, only for you to tease me right after. Those moments were so simple, yet they meant so much, and I will carry them in my heart forever.

It hurts deeply knowing you’re gone. I will miss you more than words can ever express. But I am grateful for the privilege of being loved by you, and for the memories you gave me that time can never take away.

Rest well, Daddy. Your legacy lives on in the lives you touched, and in my heart always. Thank you for loving me the way you did.

A TRIBUTE TO THE GALANT SOLDIER OF CHRIST

Great man of God, you left us at an appointed time. You've written yourself into our hearts, and we carry you with us wherever we go. Some say you were God's General, but I say, you were God's Field Marshal, an ICON of Christendom. A true man of God - even the devil can attest to this.

The man who was disinterested in earthly things; who saw the world as a nuclear family and abhorred tribalism in all its forms; a true Adventist & eschatologist; a role model with infectious love has gone home to the Lord . 'Mark the perfect man, for the end of that man is peace'.

With your transition, we're joyful heaven has one more patriarch. Pastor Femi Bamisaye, if you lived in Biblical times, I'm sure your name would be alongside Isaac, Jacob, and Moses. Sleep on, you're home.

Your fatherly love helped us understand God's fatherhood. You were a tree of peace, bearing fruits that ministered peace to our souls. Your gentle voice spoke peace to troubled hearts.

Academically, you were an encyclopedia of Malachi Four Doctrine and principles. We'll thank God for blessing us with a pastor like you.

We'll remember your golden rule: "Do unto others what you wish them do unto you and live your life to please God". We'll pass it on to our children.

If works on earth are measured by lives influenced, you earn a Postmortem award of Elder statesman, Grand patron, Father, and Great leader of our time.

You mentored, pastored, and converted many to Christ. Dear Pastor, may God reward you and place you in Heaven.

May God guide and lead preachers from where you stopped, sustaining that vision for the church... May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace... Amen.

Words can't capture your impact, compassion and unwavering dedication to God's word and the entire Church. I will never forget the time, teachings and personal memories we shared. You have left us physically, but the memory and teachings will forever be etched in our hearts. Pastor, you left a lasting mark in Christ chosen one's Tabernacle. Your passion for the word of God was contagious, inspiring me to dive deeper into my faith. I am sure the legacy you laid down will continue to inspire and guide the entire Church and family. Dear precious brother despite the fact that we are family in the flesh and spiritually you stood by me and my children when in troubles and trials you stood as a gallant solider of the lord, you serve God and mankind with all your strength and heart,God has taken you to Himself,I pray that God will uphold your wife and ur children to serve God better than you have done.

Alas, our Brother!
The news of your departure came as a rude shock. I've always thought you would be one of the ministers that would see me off when I'm gone. Well, who are we to question His will? Rest on in the bosom of our Lord and Master. We will surely see again in the Resurrection morning.
