I have loved getting to know Faithe over the past few years and having her come on our family vacations with us. My girls all adored her! She joined us on ski trips, beach trips, lacrosse trips around the US, and just hanging out around the Austin area.

Faithe was always quick to make friends and help everyone feel included and seen. Age didn’t seem to be a factor. She was friends with all my kids regardless of if they were her age or much younger.

There are lots of things I loved about Fathe, but my favorite thing about her was her “can-do” attitude. She wanted to learn to make signs at my home one day, and she took it on without fear. She wanted to learn to sew, and she learned and did it well. If we needed help with something she was always quick to say “I’ll do it!” One time Megahn had come over to our home and she had a nail in her tire. Dave was trying to patch it and he was trying to find where it was leaking. He needed someone to get under the car and spit on the tire where he thought the hole was to see if it bubbled, and before anyone else could, she was under that car and hocked big spit on that tire. For a long time after that we lovingly called her “Loogie” Hahaha

My girls are all shy, and she easily pulled all three of them out of their shells and would have a great time being silly together. She will be missed, and ski trips are going to be painful now without her and Trenton there physically. Thanks for always being a good friend to my kids Faithe!

Faithe was such a positive, caring, and thoughtful friend of our family. She was incredibly friendly to everyone around her.

We went on ski trips with Faithe, Trenton, and their family a few times. I remember riding a long ski lift with Faithe. As normally happens, some other folks filled in on the lift with us. Faithe, of course, immediately struck up a conversation with these strangers, and by the time we reached the top of the mountain, we knew their life stories in great depth!

Another time, we were visiting Dallas for a lacrosse tournament. Trenton, Faithe, and a few of us were playing hacky sack in the lobby. There was a little boy watching us, and Faithe invited him to come play. I didn't realize it at the time, but Faithe had noticed that the boy's family was being interviewed by the police. She saw this and made sure to help distract the boy from that situation.

She was always so kind and thoughtful to our family and those around us. We'll miss her!
