Edwin Rudolph Gibbons, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and greatgrandfather passed away peacefully on the 26th of June 2026 - at the age of 87.
He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the quiet ability to bring people together. Family, friends, neighbours, and colleagues all experienced the warmth and sincerity that made time with Edwin truly meaningful.
Throughout his life, Edwin touched many of us with simple acts of care, encouragement, and friendship. Conversations, shared moments, and everyday gestures created memories that will remain with those who had the privilege of knowing Edwin.
Married for over 50 years, family meant the world to him. Edwin nurtured his dearest with patience and devotion, valuing loyalty and sincerity over everything else. The passing of Edwin leaves a huge space that cannot be filled. Yet the memories and moments shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those of us who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Burial & Repast Service in Aldersbrook
Following the church service, a burial service will take place at the City of London Cemetery for immediate family and friends. This will be promptly followed by Repast at the Aldersbrook Baptist Church. We thank you all for your love and support.
