Edwin Diaz, born July 30, 1950, left us peacefully on hospice care on September 19, 2024, at the age of 74. Edwin's life was a testament to hard work, bravery, and a heart full of kindness and humor.
A father of five, Edwin managed to fill every corner of his family's life with joy and laughter. His courage was evident in the way he faced life's challenges, never shying away from hard work or from lending a helping hand.
Edwin had a knack for infusing even the dullest moments with his infectious sense of humor, quickly turning a mundane day into one filled with laughter and light. A favorite quote of his was, "Life is too short not to laugh at least once a day." Those who knew Edwin will remember his hearty laugh. He had a remarkable ability to lift spirits and reassure everyone that, no matter what, everything was going to be okay.
The memorial service for Edwin will be held on October 2nd, 2024 @ 1pm and a Spreading of the Ashes will take place on October 3rd, 2024 at 2 pm in Atlanta, Georgia.
