Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edison Clemons on January 25, 2023, at the age of 88. Born on July 8, 1935, in Bascom, FL, Edison was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.
Edison was a man of many wonderful qualities. He was kind, courageous, hard-working, generous, and full of humor. He touched the lives of all who knew him with his warmth and wisdom.
Edison was a man of faith, having accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age. Throughout his life, he attended various churches, finding strength and solace in his faith.
After serving in the army, Edison worked at Capeletti Brothers construction company, where he retired as a foreman. Known for his dedication and willingness to help others, Edison was respected and loved by all who worked with him.
Edison loved farming, fishing, attending church, and spending time with his family. He was a pillar of strength and support, always ready to offer a listening ear or a word of encouragement.
Edison is survived by his children, grandchildren, two brothers, one sister, and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, parents, five sisters, and three brothers.
A funeral service will be held on February 4, 2023, at New Liberty Hill M.B. Church in Bascom, FL. Edison will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
