Obituary
Dr. Raul Hernandez was a beloved father, husband, brother, son, and friend. Commitment to family and humanity laid at the core of his being. The central tenets of kindness and equity guided his interactions with everyone he encountered. Although he is no longer with us in physical form, his love, compassion, and spirit live on in all of us. We have created this collective space for people to share stories, memories, and photographs.

Yours was an instant friendship, Raul — the brightest smile in any room and a big heart matched only by your beautiful wife’s. No wonder you two found each other. Thank you for your friendship and for leaving your mark on the world. Your candle may not have burned the longest, but it certainly burned the brightest. Rest easy now. You are — and always will be — deeply missed.
