Babu even signed my
prescriptions while he
was on holiday and
little be known to me
he'd popped into work
he did laugh.
Truly one of a kind we will all miss you.

JAB, as fondly called by us since 1983, was a friend, classmate, desk mate, unit mate, roommate mate for 5 years and a buddy for many years was a great guy who I can’t just forget. Anand Babu was our batch mate from Campion school, Trichy in the 80’s. Very passionate cricketer, studious and quite person. Very shocking news to all of us. May his soul rest in peace and hope his family recovers from the loss of Anand.

I have had the great privilege of working with Dr Babu for the past 13 years. A gentleman in the truest sense of the word. A kind and caring man who always had time for everyone.

I have worked with Dr Babu since his days at Church Street surgery. He was such a kind and caring gentleman and I am grateful for having known him and worked alongside him for as long as I have. He will be sadly missed by us all but remembered with love and affection. My condolences to his wife and children and his wider family, who, I am sure, will feel his loss deeply. We were saddened to hear the news. We have only lived in Spalding 6 years but during that time you have made a difference to our family.

You fast tracked my husband during covid times and he had malignant melanoma and had surgery in Lincoln.

I have a son with special needs and you always were so patient with him and made those annual disability check ups stress free. We will miss you without doubt.

I hope your family and those that you worked with gain some comfort from the many messages that have been left.

I am so saddened to hear of the unexpectedly death of Dr Babu. He was the GP I always preferred to see if possible. He made me feel as if he really cared, and he took extra time to understand my concerns. He was kind, warm and friendly; everything you want in your GP. I send my sincere condolences to his family, to whom I imagine he was a much loved husband and father, who they will be devastated to have lost so young. I am so sorry.

It is truly sad to hear of the tragic news of Dr Babu passing.
He was truly brilliant getting me to the breast clinic as I felt a tiny lump on my boob. Thank heavens it was just knotty tissue but where cancer was concerned he was top of his class

I saw DR babu yearly for my learning difficulties appointment he was more then a doctor he went out of his way to help me i truly don't know what I'm going to do without him I had an amazing relationship with him and life won't be the same without him I will miss him more than words can ever say rest in peace

I am no longer a patient at the surgery but I will be forever grateful to you when I was having my son in 2013.I was feeling very poorly but the midwives said I was fine.If it hadn’t been for you and my consultant,either one or both of us wouldn’t be here now.Also thank you for leaving you door open in case I needed to call for help while Dr Manners was on the phone to the hospital to get me admitted when I had appendicitis at the old Church Street surgery.

Dearest Dr Babu, I'am so very sad to hear of your sudden passing. I only wish I had told you face to face what an amazing GP and gentleman you were. You sent me to the breast clinic when l presented with a lump, you said it was a fatty lump, which it was. On futher investigation l had right sided invasive breast cancer, and left sided dcis. I'am forever grateful for that decision. When I worked in Sainsburys you would always come through self scan, never failing to ask how I was. Just talking to you on the phone, your care, compassion and patience shone through any situation. My heartfelt sympathies are with your beautiful family, and all your dedicated team at Beechfield. I am still in shock to process this horrible news of the passing of Dr Babu- a person who was always available to listen to me about all sorts of things, clinically and also about films/food/cultural things. Dr Babu has taught me to think outside the box, has given me great tips and education during our tutorials, which was something i will always remember.

I am saddened to hear of the sudden demise of Dr Babu. I had the utmost privilege of being his first trainee doctor under his supervision, as he had recently started the role of clinical supervisor. Unfortunately, he will no longer be supervising me. During my debriefing sessions, I found him to be polite, knowledgeable, and someone who always helped rather than criticized.

I had the honour of working with Dr Babu for many years first as a District Nurse and then as Nurse Practitioner at Beechfield. He was always a great mentor and support to me and kind and supportive GP to his patients and colleagues. I would like to send my condolences to his family at this sad and difficult time .

My Wife and I were very sad to learn of Doctor Babu's passing, which was a shock given his age and how quickly this appears to have happened.

Our thoughts are with both the Family and indeed the Staff at Beechfield during this upsetting and difficult time for all.

WIth deepest sympathy for Dr Babus family adn friends i have just heard of his sudden passing..... I and my family have had many appt with Dr babu over the yrs. One thing that always sticks in my memory is his big smiley fae and the fact he never walked past without saying hello or how are u today. even end of the day on his way home. I loved how he always had his family photos on his desk.
