In the hearts of those who loved you, you will always be.

Obituary

We say goodbye to our sweet Donna, who left us on June 27, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on August 16, 1959, Donna was a cherished soul living on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii. She spent her life as a devoted wife to her loving husband, Kirk, and was the backbone of a family that thrived on her kindness.

Donna's days were filled with the joys of family, endless generosity, hard work, and a smile that could light up any room. She was a friend you could always count on, with an open heart and a warm laugh that echoed through our lives.

"Her spirit was a gift that keeps living in those she touched."

Donna leaves behind her brother Jim Lauritzen, niece Monica Lauritzen, nephew Alex Lauritzen and countless other family members and friends who will hold her memory close.

Though we will miss her deeply, we will cherish the memories of her unwavering love and the sense of humor that never failed to bring a smile. Donna will forever remain in our hearts as a testament to a life well-lived and a love well-given.

I first met Donna when I was 8 years old. We reconnected many years later in Maui and it was like we never missed a beat. She still treated me just like family along with my son Deegan and husband Mark. We visited with her and Kirk every time we went to Maui and have some great memories! It was always a great time with so many laughs. I miss her everyday and hope I can grow up to be just like her. The world needs more people like her.

My fondest memory of Donna was at the beach in Moral Bay, California with my brother, Michael, and Donna’s best friend, Jeannie, walking on the beach looking for sea urchins and laughing.

I don’t think I’ve ever known anyone more consistently optimistic, warm and genuine as Donna. As well as friends and family, she was loved by coworkers and clients literally the world over. RIP, Donna

Feel very lucky for all the happiness and laughter you shared with us. A lasting memory.

I am part of Pacific Cancer Foundations 'Paddle for Life's and am dedicating my paddling journey from Maui to Lanai, this Saturday, to Donna. Will spread flowers in the ocean for her, especially some orchids.

I knew Donna for 64 years and I never knew anyone more positive, optimistic, empathetic, loving, kind or generous. And she always had that beautiful, radiant smile that made you want to smile along with her! I miss her and pray that someday we will be together again in paradise along with other loved ones who have already passed on🙏.

Donna was a warm soul and friendly to me even when we first met. She was an impressive businesswoman but she was even more focused on friends, family and her beloved husband, Kirk. I always remembered her birthday as it was the same as my mom’s. I will always think of Donna on that day too. May God bless us all, ❤️
