I am so sorry to hear of this. I knew Denise through many avenues but the most important to me was as Mrs. Denise. She had my daughter, who is 19 now, in her CDC class at First Baptist. She later drove her on several field trips in Elementary school where I would get little updates and an occasional photo letting me know how she was doing. We ran into each other often at the baseball fields where she cheered on her grandkids and everyone else’s child she had come to know. Denise was a light in everyone’s eyes and will be greatly missed!

I’m so sorry to hear this. Every time I saw her out somewhere we always shared a story about her family. She was always a delight to talk with about her family and life.

I am so sorry! I am keeping you all in my prayers! She definitely left a lasting impact in my daughter’s life as well as mine. The only year Madison ever rode the bus was with Denise and Karliee and Madison become friends and then we were blessed to know Denise
Off the bus as well and she was such a ray of sunshine! I’ll miss her random messages sending me memories of the girl that popped up on her phone for that day.
