Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved aunt, Debbie Seaman, on September 14, 2025.
Debbie was predeceased by her parents, John and Doris, her brother Dennis, and her sister in law Donna. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her nephews, Shane, Jody and Kelly, her niece Lisa and her husband Paul, her great nieces, Chelsea, Alex and Brittany, her great nephews, Casey and Brady, and her great-great nieces, Kyle, Marley and Alaeya. Debbie also leaves behind many cherished friends who held a special place in her heart.
A lifelong animal lover, Debbie had a special passion for horses and was a true equestrian at heart. One of the highlights of her life was fulfilling her dream of an African safari, where she experienced the incredible joy of seeing wildlife up close-an adventure she treasured and often spoke of.
Debbie’s interests were as vibrant as her personality. She was passionate about photography, engaged in politics, and outspoken in her commitment to equality and fairness for all. Her professional life was dedicated to helping others, and she found great purpose in her career as a social worker, particularly in her work with troubled youth.
She made her home in Turner Valley, where she found peace and fulfillment surrounded by the beauty of nature. Debbie will be remembered for her compassion, her voice, and her unwavering love for both people and animals. She will be dearly missed.
