Obituary
Ms. Deborah Ann Smedley ‘Debbi’, age 59 of Carrollton Texas, passed peacefully on Wednesday June 19, 2024, in Dallas, surrounded by family. A happy baby and always smiling, she was born on December 14, 1964 to parents Larry and Jeannine Stultz in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Debbi married the love of her life, Joseph ‘Joe’ Smedley on February 14, 1995 in Plano, Texas. She spent much of her professional life in accounting, with a knack for finding mistakes and inconsistencies and was a true asset to all companies she worked for. Her hobbies included all things cross stitching, crafting and jewelry making, cruising with friends and family, and helping others through various groups.
Debbi was preceded in death by her Husband Joe Smedley, Father Larry Stultz, and Grandmothers Ruth Stultz and Madeline Steele, Grandfathers Edward Stultz and Frank Steele. She is survived by her Mother Jeannine Stultz, Brothers Michael Stultz and Thomas Stultz, Daughters Amy Rains, Amanda Witherspoon (Bryan), and Renee McNeese (Charlie) as well as her step son, Joey Smedley (Clara), Grandchildren Kaeleigh, Cassandra, Karis, James, Kadence, Khloe and Tommy. She is also very much missed by her kitties, Jojo and Raven. Memorial Service to follow in a few weeks at Debbi and Joe's home in Carrollton, Texas.
