King baby watch as I adjust the crown
Wrist and fist looking like a festival
Spill no f****n liquor on my fur lined down"

🕊️ In Loving Memory of Deante Deshard Goss
Deante Deshard Goss was an artist and a visionary — a radiant soul with a creative mind, a passionate heart, and a spirit that moved like music chords. Born on October 20, 1989 in Racine, Wisconsin, Deante had a signature smile and laugh that like the sunrise was golden, bright and warm enough to shine through the darkest of days. He embodied creativity in all forms. From dance, drawing, fashion, rhythm, design, music, and always being best dressed - male or female - any time he walked into a room. It’s safe to say he was not just an artist; he was art itself.
In his youth, he found joy performing at local talent shows and dance competitions. He graduated and received his diploma from North Chicago High School with the class of 2008. He went on to continue his education and fine tune his skills at the Art Institute of Chicago, earning his associate’s degree in Fashion Design. Deante had a passion for life and after leaving Chicago, he spent his adult years living in Atlanta, Georgia and Los Angeles, California. Deante was a natural-born performer — whether on stage at local venues, behind the scenes of fashion shows and photoshoots, or dancing through life, he effortlessly gifted the world with his brilliance.
When he didn’t have on his creative hat, Deante brought his charisma and drive to the automotive world. He worked for Volkswagen/Audi and later became a sales representative for Tesla. Even in the corporate world, he brought his natural style, blending professionalism with innovative flare in every role he stepped into.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Barbara Goss. He is survived by a loving village who cherished his light:
Father: Stephen (wife: Michele) Jones
Paternal Grandmother Bianca Jones
Paternal Grandfather Thomas Jones
Maternal Grandmother Martha Goss
Aunts: Bessie Goss, Eve Jones
Uncles: Ali and Tim (wife: Ketica) Goss, Ramone (wife: Daphne) and Brian Jones
Sisters Divinity Matovu, Raenesha Jones, and Kamara Barkley
Nieces: Kaleigh Jones, Nyah Matovu, Elise and Eleia Weathers, and Micaylah Jones
Nephews: Randall Weathers Jr. and Stephen Jones III
He leaves behind a wide circle of extended family and friends all over the planet, who will carry his memory as a melody that never fades.
Dearest Deante
May your voice echo through realms,
May your light lead the path,
And may you rise in glory,
Wrapped in love and crowned in peace.
